I just received a suspicious e-mail from "Paypalhelp.net" that links me to a
webpage that directs me to enter my e-mail and password. The page is not
secured, it has no "s" after the "http".
It warns that their system has deleted all information and that I must
provide the info to keep my account active or from being deleted.
I thought it was a scam immediately and e-mailed the real Paypal.
Anyone else get this kind of e-mail scam?

I checked with Network Solutions and the scoundrel this site is registered
to just created it on April 3rd. Beware of the phoney Paypal site. When
you go to this phoney site, you can actually navigate around a bit and it
looks like the real Paypal site. It even automatically fills in your e-mail
address and I can see where a lot of people might fall for this. But there
is NO "S" in the url. It is not secured.
Definitely a scam.
I hope no other RGPers fall for this. I am sure I am not the only one to
receive this phoney e-mail so be careful. Interesting that they chose me to
try to scam in the first place. How would they know I even use Paypal?
Perhaps they got my name from RGP. I dunno.
