C-Town, this game has a lot of sub plots. Purdue starting center Ivan Kartello transferred from ND to Purdue. Purdue small forward high school teammates with ND starting guard Chris Thomas. Also Purdue point gaurd Brandon McKnight runner-up in HS Mr. Basketball Award to Chris Thomas. The 2 schools have not played on the hardwood since 1966. Keady tried for years especially during the Digger Phelps era to get them on the schedule but ND always refused. There is not much love lost between the 2 schools. Good Luck
