KOK should have been fired before he was ever hired, but he is Ferentz' butt-buddy, so he will be there as long as Ferentz...:facepalm:

Can't blame it all on on KOK, though. 230 yards rushing by Penn State broke our backs. The defense couldn't get off the field and Penn State's offense had the Iowa D wore out by the 4th quarter.
I knew Iowa wasn't very good going into the game today, but the black and gold goggles got in the way and I had to play them anyway.

Chris Doyle is the strength and conditioning coach--been here 12 year now....he was the man for a while..don't know what is going on now....maybe a bunch of guys that don't want to work hard? :shrug:
it also seems as if Iowa doesn't have that Chad Greenway/ Mitch King-type leader right now...the kind of kid that will kick your ass if you aren't working hard enough...

Got a good story about what a dumbass KOK is. I have a friend that runs the video for the football and wrestlling teams. This happened about ten years ago when he was still an assistant on the video team. The team watches videos in the locker room to get pumped up for the game. I guess KOK comes into the locker room and starts ranting about how the team is going to smash the opponent, and then he punctuates his speech by literally smashing a $4,000 projector. My friend said it was like one of those scenes in the movies when someone does or says something stupid and then everyone is so shocked you can hear the crickets chirping. The locker room went dead silent for several seconds, as everyone was in total shock. Not the effect he was going for.
