The Iowa situation presents an interesting # for next week with the clones. I was expecting a great opportunity there but..... clones mindset will be ?? and they may have left everything they had out there yesterday. Or they may think they can play with anyone after that.

Hawks have lots of ????????

Oh well, no team is as good OR bad as they looked in their last game.

I'm a Big Ten fan because I think their stadiums have as good an environment as anywhere, but they are just really behind the times. MSU seems by far the best of the bunch, and we saw them get smoked in the 2nd half yesterday. What an embarrassment this conference's football programs have become. And I also find it annoying that they have 14 teams. Adding fucking Maryland and Rutgers...You cannot be serious!

no reason in this world for "BlueChip" football players to commit to THIS for a couple years before moving on to their "REAL JOB".

started over 10 years ago and has reached a horrible climax.

think about this..

the once great Cornhuskers have not been a serious contender for a National Championship for nearly 15 years..

THANKS SCHOOL

For NOT putting a pic of Iowa on the board. :mj07: Another consideration.... some of the most obese people (women) in the country are parked in those very states. Doesn't help lure much talent either.

The whole conference has become a total joke-- all we gotta do to finish the job is add the cheating Catholics from that school that pretends to play football in south bend and the destruction is complete.
Empty seats all over the place in Kinnick Saturday and we left at the end of the third quarter. We are a couple of long TD passes from the stadium where we tailgate and even when Iowa scored to win the game you could barely hear the roar.
Then some idiot on hawkeyesports.com's boards had the audacity to question our commitment to the team because 15k of us left at the end of the third....
What a fuckin joke it's all become....

Nice john McEnroe line there at the end of your post...
Should have capitalized it...

I'm sure glad the conference is doing away with playing FCS schools. Don't need another scare like that McNeese game. Need to continue to focus on the Sun Belt schools.

If I remember right, you said you are in the Dental Lot? Any predictions on next week?

Yes, the dental lot across from carver Hawkeye arena.
Only prediction I have right now is that I'm going to be watching two shitty teams attempt to play football.
At least I won't do so sober...

I thought Iowa had a really good team last year. Did they graduate some key people or maybe their just sandbagging? Not many teams can hold LSU to 14 points.

Before the season, everyone thought the Iowa D would be the problem. The thing is, that has not been the case. It was like old times against Ball State. The offense BLEW CHUNKS, and the defense played lights out to keep them in the game long enough to pull the bacon out of the fire. It will be a long season with Rudock under center if they continue to struggle to run the ball. They should be able to GASH that piss poor ISU run defense this week. If they struggle to run the ball again, stick a fork in them. It would also be nice if Beathard would get a chance to run the offense. He cannot possibly be any worse than Rudock, and he looked pretty good in the one series he got last week.
