2 UNITS: 1-3
1 UNIT: 8-3

2 UNITS
TEXAS +2
can't believe this line.......Texas should be favored by 5 or 6 in my opinion.......i think Tech plays perfect to make it a game.......would play Texas at anything up to -3 for 2 units and up to -8 for a unit

Texas is a much much better team ever since Owens went down.....others were called upon to score and they have done so.....Texas is much more physical and athletic than Tech and I just see a repeat of Tech's performance against Oklahoma......

in Big 12 play, there are hardly down nights for teams with point guards.....Texas has the better point guard in this game and already has a road win at OSU where they really played well....also just totally ripped apart Baylor last week scoring 60 in the first half.....combine that with the Rick Barnes defense and you have a team that can play with anyone......although Baker was out against Texas in the OSU game, Texas outplayed and outhustled them.....this Texas team is the first team I have seen since the Penders era that can shoot the ball well too

Knight has not had the time to figure out the kinks after the blowout in Norman and the kinks are still there

Texas has better athletes, better shooters, and better basketball players (Ford)......take this line and run to the window....think Texas wins this game 90% of the time.......

of course anything can happen but i gotta agree with ya, barnes is undefeated against tech as Felonius mentioned their 27 game winning streak against state foes. good analysis, dont want to repeat what you said but that's the same way i look at it. have watched all but about 3 UT games so i think a have a decent feel for them as well.. have seen tech a couple of times and just dont see equivalent talent...how about horns by 6..

Not going to touch this game-but a few thoughts..

Knight is a great coach-and he especially good at preparing his team by exploiting oppositions weaknesses. I'm sure he has devised a good game plan--and has come up with a way to give Texas problems on "D". At home this could be a tight game. Texas has been shooting well of late, but i do not believe they have the good outside shooters to be consisent. What i mean is that they may be due to have a bad shooting night. Like i said i will stay away from this one... But if Texas shoots subpar--Texas Tech at home--could pull this one out getting all the close calls. You have been following this conference--and your feel for it has been good. Although my slight lean would be Texas Tech.-i'll trust your judgement--making me not play this one. GOod Luck
