OU -8

This line is down to 7 in some places.......OSU has not covered in 5 straight games with Nebraska and Col. giving them a game on their home floor.

OU comes off a game at Tech where it is debatable in either the refs taking their big men out of the game, or simply they did not show up. Take your pick the game was a horrible game for OU and you can bet they will be up for this one at home against OSU.

OSU will also be up but lack of offense other than Baker does not suit them well in this matchup. They do have the Willowridge kid inside playing well, but he plays like OU's guys and OU has about 4 of him.

Norman will be rocking tonight and expect to see the Schooner get back on track.

OU rolls by 15.

Col -8.5

Line has moved a bit today towards Col.
Baylor is playing the worst in conference right now. They barely squeeked by Iowa State and K-State at home -- the other worst two teams -- and at those places I would think they would lose.

Col. beat Baylor by 20 2 years ago at home and gave them a gmae twice last year.

Baylor's freshmen are the strength of the team and first time to play at Col. in thin air I do not expect much. Rest of team cannot shoot and Baylor has no one to guard freshman sensation Harrison down low.

Col by 15-20

Neb and K-State.

North vs. South and North is at home getting points while south travels.

Tough for Tech to play well again although B Knight I am sure will have his guys ready. Texas was shooting lights out early on but has not been hitting as of late losing at home to Sidelines and then having Baylor play them tough. K-State is playing better than Baylor....Texas had lots of fans at Baylor.....Farther distance to travel to K-State......and crowd will be more vocal at K-State as many Baylor people do not care who wins......

So I think K-State gives Texas a game. If Texas shoots well tehy should cover but they haven't been doing that as of late.

Nebraska is playing better and I think they will pack the house to see Knight. SHould be best crowd of the year up ther for them and see a good game.

Bottom line: Big 12 homer games.......take the home dogs......

My prediction: Knight gets first "T" tonight

I've had a hard time calling these Big 12 games....admire you even attempting it on every game. The only call I have a problem with is KState. They are so overmatched in talent. There's more atmosphere in an abandoned warehouse than Bramledge Coliseum. KSU fans stopped caring about 5 years ago. I like gaurd Larry Reid, but the rest of the team amounts to dependable but unspectacular role players.

Against Missouri, Kareem Rush, the guy who can't create his own shot (I do agree with you guys on that to some degree), scored 22 on 8-14 shooting against KSU on Saturday. KSU defense is not very good and I don't expect much of anything from the crowd as the weather in Manhattan should be just a smidge better than absolutely miserable at tipoff.

Just some thoughts, good luck.

James Thomas, center for UT may not play tonight and is listed as questionable. Sophomore Jason Klotz is the backup.

They may be tempted to let him sit and give him 3 more days of rest before the Sooners come to town.

There were probably two or three points of value at 6 1/2 before JT became questionable.

Is BU at home better than K-State at home? Probably. However, I don't know of anyone who got rich going with road favorites.

Agree with K State and the points.

Like Oklahoma ST just because when in a game we haver state rivality, I preffer to go with the dog, because normaly that games are so close, JUST PRIDE GAME!!..

I think...

And Texas can win easy K St, they are not a team to create problems to a Texas team who is not expectacular, but is very good!

actually I am a believer that Texas can play with anyone with point guard Ford but because he is a freshman can be prone to playing down to competition.......

Monk....I htink Baylor is playing worse than anyone in the Big 12 right now and add that to the fact that UT fans at Waco are as vocal as BU fans than I think there is value in 6.5........without Thomas that will make them weaker inside.....he is actually the second MVP on team behind Ford IMO.......

yeah, OSU could give them a game, but just think OU at home laying single digits is not a whole lot......OSU has had offensive troubles and will play hard but I think OU pulls away at some point in game......

good luck guys......

smallest crowd UT has probably played against since barnes started, apparently a bunch of snow, broadcasters reported 57 in the stands when they began the pre game cast, now in the hundreds 5 minutes beforehand-- thomas is playing

several hundred more came in during the first half(listening on radio) so k st seems to at least have some support in the stands. both teams in foul trouble again as mouton picked up 2 by the 17th minute and erskine also has 3 fouls. williams got his 3rd foul for k st at 7 minute mark and canby has 3 fouls also. lots of back and forth up tempo from UT, k st got a lot of hustle plays and loose balls.
