I think defenses will play better than expected in this game. I like the horns to win 38-17 or somewhere thereabouts.

Movement of the line really doesn't affect my plays in any way.

I just pick what I think will happen. My plays are purely opinion.

Texas Tech OVER 68.5 **

Oklahoma -18.5 **

There is no way I could pick KState in this spot as OU may score 60. KState may also not score 20, so I can't take the over. I think there is no way OU scores less than 40 and I think they win this one 50-21 or somewhere around that number.

Texas Tech should score 30 and so should Kansas. One team likely hits 40. I think this game is a shootout. As for a side, i really think this is a pickem so I have no opinion.

The Neb/Baylor game is interesting. I initially thought this was a good spot for Nebraska, but was impressed at how the Bears defense played against Okie State. I could see this one likely being a 31-17 type of game and don't see many scenarios where either Baylor truly has a chance to win (making this a Baylor play) or Nebraska routing them off the field (making this a Nebraska play). So I don't see a good play here.

Anyway, thats my take on the early games. May have another one later.

KState gets the ball first, they are down by 27, they came close to OU's yardage the 1st half. I think this is a good value bet.

I think this one is a tossup and I give a slight lean to TAMU based on the fact that I think they are improving and Iowa State is not. TAMU played Tech well last weekend and they actually didn't play to bad on the road at Okie State. I look for them to win this one 3 out of 5 times and see good value here. Iowa State has not been impressive in any big12 action so far. Lost to Baylor by huge figures. Their one good half against Kansas now looks much less respectable.

Yes I was on the wrong side. I should have listened to you and your infinite wisdom.

Still a positive day. 5-2 +5 units or so.

Missed out on a few other bets that should have been made -- Mizzou, OU over, and Tex Tech. Should have seen all 3 of these coming.
