Writeups.......

Dogs have been doing well lately and lines are a little low. Like Kansas to put the hurt on Colorado by 25 today. COlorado playing well but everyone is getting killed at Kansas this year so no reason to think CU will play them competitively.

Ok. State......starting to play well again. Have a good inside outside combo which Texas did not have and will help them win on the road. Also have a decent point guard. Eddie needs this win bad and I expect the Cowpokes to win not easily, but solidly. First instinct was to take K-State but after Texas win do not think they have what it takes to beat two NCAA teams in a row.

OU......more talent than Texas. Am hesitant to play much against Texas here because Texas got whooped against OU last year at home. Think this may bea circled game for a number of their guys, but just think that OU has too much scoring and Texas not enough.

Tech.....Iowa State is playing terribly losing at home to A&M.......A&M beating Texas at home is one thing, but traveling up to Iowa State to win? First win for them out of state since inception of the Big 12 gives me lack of confidence in this team. The general will have his troops ready for a big win at home after dropping one at Nebraska.

I'm thinkin Tech is NOT a good fade today. Agree with all your picks....and I wouldn't be afraid to tell ya if I wasn't. Ricardo Patton has been talkin smack about Kansas. This should get very ugly.

Texas against OU should show plenty of effort today.......

Both teams play lots of defense and both teams have been having hard times scoring last few games......

OU's win against OSU should be a sign of things to come in this game.......

If refs "let them play" this is a lock to cover........if not, still a good bet at under 138 since shooters on both teams have not been hitting.....namely Ivey&Ere.....Mouton and Price are still pretty hot but both teams know that and will concentrate on shutting them down.......

Agree totally on the TX/OU UNDER 138......gonna pound this game on the under.......I see a lot of effort on the defensive side of the ball today with the Horns as there will be a BIG crowd today for this at the ERWIN CENTER here in AUSTIN....

good luck freeze, will be going to the UT/OU game today, hope to see a good one but I must admit I placed a small wager on OU. dont see OU getting fazed even with the sellout, they have played in much noisier buildings. wouldnt mind losing the wager, but to be perfectly honest i think OU should be favored by 3 or 4.

Monk will probably be mortified knowing that I bet on OU-
