Lets have a little fun. . . .post your early predictions for the big dance without having a chance to see the bracket yet. . . anything you want. I'll get it started:

1. The Big Ten will not get a single team in the Elite Eight. I'm not impressed with Ohio State or Wisconsin. I think their high ratings are a product of their records and not how good these teams really are. Take a look at both schedules and tell me how many quality wins both teams have. I can count the quality wins for both teams on one hand and that includes their wins against each other! Besides OSU and Wisconsin, I think the rest of the Big 10 is way down this year and it will show soon enough.

2. The Big 12 and Pac 10 will each have a member in the Final Four. My picks are Kansas and UCLA (not a big strech obviously) but you've got to believe teams like Texas, Washington State, USC, and Oregon all have a shot as well. I believe these two conferences will be the standouts this year.

Couldnt agree more nickleback, I like KU to win it all

And I definitely agree with GT airportis, I think they will be last years UCLA, a team that slows the pace down and makes you beat yourself with good defense.

Like Wisc and Texas

Yikes Arizona @ 22-1 :mj07:

well arizona and wisc were bet in aug

while sc and tex were bet in jan

all 4 were basically long shot bets based on teams being able to outperform their odds.....think i did fairly well on 3 of the 4, but really only have confidence in texas to win 6 games starting next week with a little conf in wisc (none in arizona and usc)

i'll likely have 2 more future bets after the draw tomorrow with teams that i think can-will win it all.

Officiating will determine how far the Big Ten's Big Two go more than any other factor. The more they can bang, the deeper they go.

The Pac-10 will be exposed as UCLA will be the only team to make it into the second weekend.

Butler will be overseeded and will lose in the first round.

Winthrop will make it to the second weekend.

The Big East will outperform expectations.

Florida will steamroll to the Final Four with surprising ease.

"Mid-Majors" Nevada and Memphis will both make the Elite Eight.

UCLA will win the national title.
