Any other offensive coordinator not named Ferentz would probably be on the hot seat.

Any other coach not named Ferentz with an AD not named Barta would have been gone years ago and certainly would not have gotten a 10 year extension being as mediocre as he's been in the 19 years and counting he's been in Iowa city . :facepalm:

But Illinois is so damn bad, hawk...
George Jr ain't the answer at QB because if he was he'd have been the starter all year as the guy he's replacing simply can't throw the football.
I can see a back door cover as once Iowa has a lead of any size captain clueless gets even more conservative than usual.
Iowas defense still believes they are better then they have shown so a 24-3 final score in this one would not surprise me in the least.
It's homecoming as well and that should give Iowa a bit more incentive to handle the Illini easily on Saturday.

Give us all an update on what it's like in Vegas this weekend.

will do Reds--we almost decided to cancel but most of the people going out there will not be going to gamble. Sad out thee.
Iowa has basically shown me nothing this year--Stanley needs to step it up. I am not sold on him

Illinois is as bad as advertised but Iowa's sorry assed defense made them look pretty good for 3 quarters.
The 89 yard pick 6 by Snyder fresh off a 6 month layoff for ACL surgery put a charge in the crowd and the team and they rolled from that point on.
Very rainy for the tailgate but just a tiny amount of sprinkles during the game. [emoji106]
A week off then a trip to Evanston to play the Mildcats who always seem to play Iowa tough.
How was the vibe in Vegas?
