Teddy I am going to either sink or swim with you. I played the same plays as you so we are riding the same boat. I can not go against a team with a 48 home conference winning streak. Lets just hope they continue the streak by winning by five. Good call on the Superbowl I hope it made you rich also.;)

Just curious tedy as to why you like the unders. Do you think utah is going to slow the game down. I know it is difficult to hold wyoming under 70. This could be to anyone else playing the under also.

Utah -2.5 First half BIG (WTF, chasing my loss on SDSU)

Utah is very tough at home in the first half, I took a quick look at their box scores for the season and it looks like they were up by six or more at the half in just about every home game.

I believe Wyoming comes in tired after all those OT games.

Welps.. I look at it this way.

Utah @ home avg's 35.8 ppg at half time
Utah's Opponents avg 27.2 ppg at half time

At Half Wyoming on the road scores 33.4

With these avg's plus Utah's pace of play. I think the under 1H is a solid play.

This from Wagerline might scare me off UTAH or off this game completely:

02/04/2002 Wyoming 76 27.14% Utah 204 72.86%

Biggest Consensus of the day

Heres an article:

The script has worked out the past two games ? roll up a 15-point lead and then hang on for dear life when the other team rallies in the final minutes.
The Utah basketball team can't count on that scenario working every night, however, particularly Monday night when second-place Wyoming (14-5, 5-1) visits the Huntsman Center for a 10 p.m. game (ESPN-TV).
On Saturday, just like earlier in the week against BYU, the Utes frittered away a 15-point lead and hung on for a five-point victory, 67-62 over Colorado State. Five days earlier, the Utes blew a 16-point lead and won by five over the Cougars 71-66.
By winning both games, the Utes improved to 6-0 in the Mountain West Conference, 16-3 overall and extended their best-in-the-nation winning streak to 13. Otherwise, they weren't too happy with their lack of killer instinct and inability to put opponents away.
"Again, we missed an opportunity to put them away," said Nick Jacobson.
"We're playing well, we're just not finishing teams off," said Travis Spivey.
"If we want to be a good team, we have to put teams like this away," said Britton Johnsen, who scored a career-high 28 points but missed nine free throws.
The Ute players seem to know what to do, they just haven't learned how to do it.
Making free throws would be one major step. Against BYU, the Utes missed only six of 31 free throws all game, but four misses came in the final five minutes when the Cougars were closing the gap.
Against CSU, it was almost comical ? Ute fans would say scary ? the way the Utes clanked free throws. During the final 5:03 of the game, Utah missed nine of 12 free throws to turn what should have been a double-digit win into a nail-biter.
Ute coach Rick Majerus called it a lack of "mental toughness," as he tried to figure out his team after Saturday's game. When asked about positives in the game, all he could say was, "Well, we won ? that counts for something."
In order to win Monday night, the Utes will need to play better than the last two outings. The Utes will have to stop Wyoming's inside game without a true center, unless they decide to play Lance Allred or Cameron Koford more than they have been. Starting center Chris Burgess has missed eight games with a foot injury and isn't expected to play.
Wyoming features perhaps the best inside game in the league with two-time all-league forward Josh Davis, all-league forward Marcus Bailey, center Uche Nsonwu-Amadi and forward Ronnell Mingo. The Cowboys lead the nation in rebound margin at 10.3, and Nsonwu-Amadi is second in the league with 8.4 boards per game and Davis fourth at 7.8.
JC transfer Donta Richardson leads the balanced Cowboy scoring at 13.3 per game, followed closely by Bailey at 13.2 and Davis at 12.6 ppg. Point guard duties are handled by freshman Jason Straight, who took over for three-year starter Chris McMillan, who is redshirting because of an injury this year.
