Yesterday 2-0 +6 units
This week 18-8 +36 units
This year 66-34 +104 units

1-5 units

1 unit 11-6
2 unit 20-14
3 unit 11-7
4 unit 14-2
5 unit 10-5

Yesterday:

Texas +10 4 units (W)
Fres St +13 2 units (W)

Today:

Loyola Mary +2 5 units (local, buy the half if you get 1.5)
Murray St -2 4 units (local, buy the half if you get 2.5)
*Pepperdine +3 4 units (local) SEE BELOW

I have already played Pepperdine but I will be buy back 2 units if Reggie Brown for Richmond plays. He is currently listed as questionable and I don't think he is going. If he does go I will wager 2 units on Pepperdine instead of 4. Pepperdine will be without Sr. Guard Devin Montgomery as well (he didn't play against Oregon either-broken thumb). Brown is Richmonds leading scorer. Very long trip for Richmond who hasn't played in 9 DAYS! Pepperdine will be looking to get back on track after Oregon whipping. Look for Jimmy Wiggens and Boomer Brazzle to have their ways. I also look for Terrance Johnson to step up from the perimeter (48% from the floor and 56% 3pt avgs this year). Mike Skrocki has been good on the glass for Richmond and gets his pts but has struggled in shooting %. He really misses Brown (teams leading scorer). Pepperdine should win out right...

Murray state is the better team here. I have them by double digits.

Loyola Mary is definately the better team here. Cal Poly has not covered the spread this year and is 1-4 SU. They can't compete with the Division I teams. I can not figure out WHY they are favored here. Both teams have been horrible from beyond the arc and at teh foul line. Cal Poly is avg 12 assists to 18 turnovers while Loyola is a little better with 15 assits and 14.8 turnovers. Loyola is clearly the better team in my opinion and AGAIN I can't figure out way their giving the points. Wrong team favored, Loyola wins by double digits.

Good Luck,

YAZ

I was looking long and hard at Marymount as well. I thought they would be favored in this game as you did. Have a good night and thanks for the hard work.

Richmond's website has Brown out for tonight. Also hearing that Bucknor may be back for Pepperdine tonight so that should also help.

Cal Poly info...

Cal Poly info...

Taken from another post-

Tonight the Cal Poly Mustangs take on Loyola Marymount and hope to end what has been a terrible start to the season. Cal Poly is actually my Alma Mater (thank you very much) and I still have a few good friends who live there and are regular contributors to the Sports programs. I was intrigued by the match-up tonight as I have kept a close eye on LMU this year and have used them as a play a couple times already this season.

The interesting thing is that you can't really find any news out of Cal Poly mostly due to the fact that it is a sleepy little college town tucked in between the large metropolitan areas of Los Angeles and San Jose, CA.

Mustangs are usually a tough beat at home (beat Oregon St SU last year) but they have struggled so far this year. I called my best friend and Cal Poly Booster earlier today to see if there was any news on tonight's game. He passed onto me that Cal Poly will finally be able to play 3 transfers that have as yet not been able to suit up due to eligibility rules. Two of the players are JC Transfers and 1 is a transfer from Minnesota who transfered to Cal Poly after having a falling out with the coaching staff.

All three of these players are expected to contribute heavily for the rest of the season and with Cal Poly desperate for a victory I fully expect them to compete hard tonight. Ultimately it will take a while for this team to gel and I know that there are some pretty high expectations so it will be interesting to see what happens.

I knew there was a reason that CPSLO was favored tonight and I believe this is why. As for me I will be following some local folk and placing a medium play on the Mustangs. Hopefully this info pans out and I wasn't provided a biased opinion on things!

Marra, thank you very much....that is excellent info and this is the kind of info that really helps when capping. I am going to stay with my 5 units as both the 4 units have won so if it doesn't work out I still come up with positive units (my goal each night) for the night. I still feel really good about the game as these players WILL (as you stated) take SOME (maybe not much) time to gel with the team. Good Luck and again thank you for the info and research with the folks you know that are still there....
