Well, Today is a very strange day. I have capped every game on the board and for the first time in a very long time my gut is coming into play.....I don't know what it is that is making me feel this way but for some odd reason I can not ignore it or keep it from weighing on my thought process for tonights card. BUT I am going to stick with my capping results as well knowledge and just go with it and against my gut. For example......I cap the Okl @ Okl St game and it caps out in favor of Okl St but only for about a 1 or 2 unit play. Sampson is in FACT only 2-6 @ Gallegher Arena and 8-10 vs Sutton.....also, I have NEVER been impressed with OU's offense. They have athletes who are quick and can really jump that usually play very good defense, but how many CONSISTANT shooters do they have? Okl St has an awesome defense who I believe is second in the BIG 12.....tough defense vs a not so threatening offense @ home where you own your biggest rival in the last 8....not to mention a team (okl st) who is trying to earn some national respect.....what better way to get it then whip up on your in-state hated rival.....well, my gut says to go against it all and take OU with the basket.....but since it caps out to be a damn good game at 1-2 units.....I AM PASSING TO LOOK FOR BETTER VALUE!

Colo St did the same thing to me, but again I am passing here as I think N. Mex could put up a fight and get within the #.

Anyway, enough about all my problems today....hopefully I can put aside all the non-sense and get off to a solid start this week.

Missouri @ Syracuse

Fact...teams struggle in the Carrier Dome. It takes some adjusting for visiting teams to get their shooting down in facilities like this one. To make matters worse Syracuse is almost unbeatable at home and this will be Mizzou's only 4th game away from home and 3rd on the other teams actual home court. With that being said....I still like Missouri to win this game outright. They are very, very well coached by a very competitive coach who does an excellent job in getting them prepared....IMO.....Also, I know that Syracuse has a number of players putting up double digits in scoring and some that are decent rebounders.....I am also a believer in this Super Frosh Carmelo Anthony.....BUT I feel they rely on him too much and his supporting cast around him are not stepping up enough to win games like ones against teams of Missouri's calibur.....Maybe they will tonight and prove me wrong, but until I see it I playing against them. This Missouri team plays very tough on both sides of the ball, and these are my favorite teams to watch and wager on. Arthur Johnson is playing out of this world. He has had 3 straight double doubles and uses every bit of his solid 6-9 265 ilb body inside. Ricky Paulding is as tough as competitor as they come and these two compliment each other well. Throw in Travon Bryant at 6-9 236lbs, loves to play defense and hit the boards you have a nice mix. Missouri is a very unselfish team that has players who know their roles and play hard on both ends. I'll take them to hand Cuse their first home loss of the year.
