Utah vs. Ariz St.

Ariz St is just to inconsistant. You never know which team will show up. I am going on a 2 unit play simply because I feel that Utah is better coached and will win this game.

Indiana vs Virginia

This will be Virginia's 4th game in 6 days. They played in Charlottesville last Friday, Traveled to Maui on Saturday, played Chaminade on Monday and Kentucky last night. Indiana's good quick quard play and fast pace will be too much for a team in Virginia's situation. Indiana is also very good in BIG games such as this Championship game (hence their run last year). They are out to prove being under rated and getting NO respect and Davis with the Senior leadership of Coverdale and Hornsby should win this one by double digits. I am thinking about taking them in the 1H as well -3. Will be back if I do.

Colorado @ New Mexico St.

Colorado should absolutely dominate this game. They have A TON on offense that New Mexico St will not be able to keep up with. David Harrison is a 7 footer coupled with Stephane Pelle who provide a lot of muscle down low. Harrison had 31 pts, 17 reb, and 10 block shots vs. Stetson (I know that they are bad but he takes quality shots and hits them). Pelle had 15 pts and 21 reb in that same game. They are rolling at 2-0 (no competition yet) but will continue that roll here. I could see this being a 20+ point victory!!!

Loyola Chi @ N. Illinois

David Bailey is a pure scorer and thrives in games such as these (against a team that doesn't ahve anyone that will be able to contest him). He is averaging 26.5 pts per game and was the conference pre-season player of the year. Demetrius Williams and Pat McMillan are averaging 7 rebounds a game and provide Loyola Chi with a lot of beef down low. Freshman Terrance Withers has looked very solid coming off the bench. He can really shoot from the perimeter and takes some pressure off Bailey (not that he ever it lets it get to him anyway). Withers is averaging 15.5 pts per game. N. Illinois focuses on and plays good defense but they have NO OFFENSE. They will struggle to keep up with this Loyala Chi team. Only worries are they are at home but I still have Loyola Chi winning this by double digits and could blow N. Illinois out by close to 20.....

GOOD LUCK,

YAZ

I just found out that Demetrius Williams (Center for Loyola Chi) will sit out tonight's game vs N. Illinois for disciplinary reasons. This does cause a little bit of worry for me but I am going to stick with my 5 units on them as I am hoping that others will step up in his absence as they will get more minutes. Bailey, Withers, and McMillan will still be to much scoring for a N. Illinois team that can't score!!!
