Well 26 gyms in use and 258 games in day one saw allot of acation and great play.
I was at green valley high school yesterday and watched 8 games .each gym has 10 games aday except 1 that has 8.
the gv gym has the top teams and thats where the better teams will move as this moves on.
yesterday in the crowd you had every head coach from your top 40 d1 teams..
LaBron James was all he was made out to be,he had 34 points 11,4 steals and 2 blocks. he had 5 dunks 3 that were out of this world. he hit 4 3pointers,3 of those were nba range. this kid at 17 just cut through his opp at will and these are the top players in the country.nba scouts were taping his every move. he can play and will be a great one someday in the nba,he is like an artist, his moves and actions were perfect.this kid can jump with anyone.
also the michigan hurricanes played great this is my pick to win it with the atlanta celtics to come in 2nd,they won it last year.
the hurricanes were led by anthony roberson(fl) and maurice ager(mich.st)100-81 win over the southeren cal all-stars. roberson scored 23 points 5 3pointers in the win . ager had a strong 1st half with 15 scoring 26 for the game.
Amare Stouemire the 6-10 post player who is in the top 5 players in the us didnot play but another top player 6-11 Sani Ibrahim did and had was a force inside with 17 boards,19 points and 6 block shoots.he is a force and is only a up coming senior.
Bob Gibbions the top college and nba recruiting analyst for the nba and ncaa said that james has exceptinal skills and great athletic abilty. he also stated he had watched Kobe Bryant at this age over a couple dozen times and two weeks out here when he played in the big time a few years ago and says,James is futher along at the same age that Bryant was. This kid is the real deal and you will be watching him in a nba all-star game in the near future.Gibbions stated james was the best player at the usa basketbakk festival this summer and he out played the nations top seniors and out played the #1 senior Lenny Cooke in a head to head match up i will be catching cook at 9am and james and his team at 11 am.
these games are better then most college games that i was at in the mnt.west last year.if you like hoops and good hoops this is heaven.
stars from the past are bryant, iverson, shaq, augmon, duncan as well as over 52 other nba players.

Did you get a chance to see the guard out of Chicago, Sean Dockery? One of the nation's top 5 guards. I believe he has signed with Duke. Sounds like a great time.

fletcher, thanks for the information -- I have heard a few things about the guys you mentioned, but hearing more of that stuff is always interesting (well, to me it is, anyway).

rrc havenot seen him yet i will catch him sat morning,i will put a recap of todays games, starting tonight start to get the best of the best as some of your weaker teams get knocked out a sleeper to win it all has to be texas blue chips, they beat ne ohio shooting stars last night 77-69 james got his points but team texas was just to tuff.
i still think the mich hurricanes take it all or the atlanta celtics. had 25 guys get 30 or more yesterday. leading scorer for 1 game is brandon hortman of friends of hoop from(wis) he has a nice shoot.canned 45.
rick pitino and i spoke and watched a games at green valley between long island panthers they have 2 good players very good against the belmont shore (calif). long island won 66-56. another team i like is the dallas slam n jam they have a shot won first 3 games by an avg of 22. also the la rockfish have a great team.
off to the games so i am done for day and night.

Any idea if James is gonna go pro after his junior year? A local guy tells me he'd easily be top 4 after his junior year. Your thoughts on it would be appreciated.
