While admitting that I do not get deep into handicapping every game ( concentrate on buffalo and KC mostly) i see alot of under games today.
Tennesee-balt - Think baltimore continue to do what wins for them...field position and defense...tennessee overated IMHO
washington - NYG Would not touch. Giants could win a 31-3 game easily
SC - Cleveland - browns defense will be best that SD has seen and same for browns. Can see browns not getting 10 points here
Zona - Philly - here is an over IMHO. Eagles has shown a downfield passing attack. Philly secondary admits that plummer for some reason gives them fits
Chicago - ATL two teams playing inspired defense so far. Bears may break out with Miller now in control and throwing downfield more. I think 39 is still too high
Cinn-Pitt - Pitt offense is bad. defense more likely to rise to occasion with opening of new stadium then offense. bengals reverted to old ways last week. Dillon has had success here so maybe bengals stay on the ground. 35 looks about right here
Minn-NO - No defense is best unit on the field here. With no running game, Vikes sputter. I look for a steady dose of Williams here for NO. Under the 44 here
Miami - NE - YAWN......9-6 sounds good
KC - denver - See previous post about this under. These two teams know each other well and play very tough against each other. Loss of McCaffrey hurts Denvers point productions in alot of ways.
jacksonville - seattle - Number is low here but I still see these two staying under here. replacing hasselback with Dilfer does not inspire me to look for seattle to explode offensively.
Jets - buffalo see previous post. Another field goal war.
GB - TB Bucs can only win if defense carries them. i can see Alstott having success today running the ball. His legs should be fresh. Bucs defense rises to the occasion at home and stops favre but loses a close one.
Carolina - SF Over here. Don't let 49ers defense on Monday fool you. jets played poorly all around on offense. 49er offense on the other hand looks very good.
dallas - oakland - dallas gets shut out and oakland offense loses interest after they cover the 18.
St Louis detroit 49 1/2 is tooooo high for any game that Ty detmer starts. he will not throw seven picks here but will have trouble mustering more then 10 points.
