D-Backs -1.5 AZ players R really looking to kick it into high gear and make this last month (just like the 2001 season) and get into the playoffs. They are a mere 8-6 vs the Padres but don't let that keep ya away tonight as Randy will take the hill. HIs last outing was a rough one but he stated his mechanics were the big reason why and he expects things to be different tonight. Gonzo is hitting 346 w/4 HR's vs the Padres. Spivey is back in the groove and hitting the ball hard to all parts of the field.Mondo is on fire..I know people don't like his attitude but he comes to play every night since joining AZ and also is coming to the park early for extra BPI am unsure if Moeller(caught RJ 24 of past 25 times) or Hammock (Is hitting the ball very well and showing more patience at the plate since rejoining the tm) will catch. P. Nevin is back for the Padres. I look for alot of runs by the D-Backs and they will cover this 7 run total by themselves.

AZ OV 7 4* By the 5th its over

Thx wcb4

Thx wcb4

But Myers about blew it...this guy has lost all control of his pitches...I can't believe the D-Backs send these young pitchers down to the minors to make room for the starters returning from the DL and you have Myers sitting there in the dougout...Release his A$$ now...I am waiting to see if this will happen

Great call, Skeeter:D. Don't know what happened to Myers this yr, either. Last yr there was a players' poll on top 10 pitchers with the natiest stuff, and he was 1 of the 10. This yr it seems like everyone's teeing off on him:shrug:

That homer by Citron was a monster shot:eek:
