Bills @ Jaguars:
With the Jags at home off two losses and playing a virtually inept Bills team to date, it is most tempting to fly with the Florida natives over the traveling New York. It is no secret that NY teams struggle in California and Florida if they are playing their second straight on the road of if they are off a division game.
The game looks all too easy as Jax is coming off huge spread losses (by NFL standards) of 12 and 17 points. Combining that with the turf differential begs for a Jags play minus the single digit.
The thing that concerns me is a winless 0-4 team off a bye getting +9. On top of that, the Bills allowed 40+ last week. Those things combined are traditionally a 'play on' for the dog from a technical standpoint.
We're gonna pass on the side play and bank on a strong defensive effort from the Jags vs. the inconsistent offensive output of the Bills who peaked out offensively last game and could sputter a bit. Jax has had their own problems in the red zone and the Bills could play a hieghtened game on 'D' on the heels of their debacle in their last game.
We'll look for one--if not both--of the teams to score minimal and therefore fly with the UNDER...
