Yep, no play. But for fun, i?m going to bet two units on Yale on the money line -240 and one unit on brown +5 1/2. So either I middle the play, or I have exposure on the downside of about .3 units.
Last year, Yale won both games by about three or four points each. The teams are essentially the same. It should be very close :)

Yale already beat Brown this month by 14 and by 8 and 3 last season. I'd take a shot with Brown. looks like money loves Yale.

Games are updated, the excel file is still only showing yesterday's games.

Not 100% but at quick glance, this is what I see for today..... (Talisman Red, 7OT)

Austin Peay -1 (-5.4, -5) Belmont
Binghamton +1.5 (-4, -4) New Hampshire
Georgia Southern +2.5 (-2, -7) Georgia State
North Dakota +9.5 (+13.8, +1) Western Illinois
North Texas +9 (+13.3, +5) UTEP

I know these are all lesser conferences, so I don't know if any of these would be non-plays based upon Billy's rules.

Austin Peay and Ga. Southern qualify.
Binghampton likely is the small conference exclusion (added game, not available everywhere).
With North Dakota and North Texas, the variances are
on different sides of the opening line. The variance has
to be in the same direction, I believe.
BB could clear this up if I am in error.

I came up with:

Austin Peay +1
Georgia Southern -2.5

I was referring to talent level, not personnel; I was not not intending to mislead.
The game played out to form.

It was thought that the Yale talent level would erode, but they are just as good, if not
better, without Oni etc. Yale will likely win the league and the tourney. Brown will again
finish 5th, 6th or 7th, as usual. I took a shot at Brown doing a better job at defending the
home court. I whiffed.

Harvard is missing Aiken at the point today at Dartmouth. Listed doubtful.
Big Green have a good shot to win the game.

I agree here

I agree here

Austin Peay & Ga. Southern are the only two games that qualify here.

The others are either in Lower Conference or the line is not in the same direction

which disqualifies them.

I see Georgia Southern opened at -2.5, not +2.5. Would also make this a no play if not mistaken.

Thoughts?

I understand, missed the talent vs personnel thing . Had Brown also.

Ga. Southern did open up at -2.5 But the two indicators that B.B. utilizes 7OT & Talisman have Ga.State

winning by 1.9 & 7 points = 2.5 + 1.9 = variance 4.4 =2.5 + 7= variance 9.5 both are more than

4 point variance so it makes Ga. Southern a play. Hope this helps..............Doc

At -4 T Red was -7.6 which would not be a play. Guess it depends what line you are going by.

Good point.. ThePredictionTracker has the lineopen listed at -3.. but I am seeing on scoresandodds an opening line of -4

I think B.B. only uses The Prediction Tracker

If so this would be a play. But I am not 100% certain.:shrug:
