Ha I dont see many other people posting their picks at other sites so i dont know the competition. Obviously Im not the best since Dogs is ranked higher. I did have a higher % last year.. but I wasn't here to prove it  Anyway, different types of cappers.. Dogs relies on a lot of things I dont even look at. I hardly ever go on a cold streaks though. That being said picking 55 % in golf for a month you will lose a good bit if you are picking favorites.

Ridle hardly ever plays anything under 60 to / 1 .. :SIB
If were in the middle of making predictions, I guarantee next year will be over the 40 unit mark :scared

Ain't going to compare myself to anyone, and particularly no-one on this forum ... that's not what we're about ;)

However, three tipsters outside this forum that I would doff my hat to, would be:

Ian Richards (formerly active here, sportsbettingindex.com)
Dave Tindall (bettingzone.co.uk)
Alf Musketa (vegasinsider.com)

meant external tippers from likes of sportinglife, racing post etc rather than the bods on here. agree on your 3 stan although DT not had his best year.

and ridle, i'd take you on outrights against just about any capper in golf!!

on a side note, must have been quite leathered last night as have no recollection of posting this!!!

IMO Would depend on which area of golf--you have outrights-match ups-props-spreadbetting ect.
Then you have could break it down further on strengths on diff tours.
The biggest factor to my thinking would be consistency in their respective strengths over the years.

Two cappers in diff areas I have been impressed by

outrights-Riddle
Despite his methods contradicting every rule I use in outrights--I have to give the devil his due--as the #'s speak for themselves.

Spread Betting- Andy (Keyser) to me- that does spread betting tips on Stan's site--He's yet to have losing year.

Stan Was curious on your Alf Musketa fellow as only one I was not familiar with.

Was checking on his stats at insider and since his records on matches since 1998 (below) are based on $100 per unit--would that equate to a winning ave of 18.10 units a year by our method of tabulation?--just curious.

GOLF 1998-2006
Year Record Profit
2006 70-49-4 +1,833
2005 69-40-2 +2,315
2004 63-51-2 +1,185
2003 71-39-2 +2,825
2002 87-69-5 +1,485
2001 125-93-10 +2,320
2000 112-86-6 +1,620
1999 98-69-4 +2,080
1998 83-63-0 +810
Total: +16,293

If my assessment is correct- he deserves tip of the hat for consistancy--but yearly rate of return would certainly not qualify him--per Vegas Insider

"When it comes to betting on Golf, Alf has set the standard. He has an unprecedented golf handicapping record that dates back to 1991 when all PGA Tour events became available on the board. "
