Can I transfer Bitcoin from Blockedchain directly to my Bitpay account? Or do I have to transfer to Coinbase first?

You now have to open a bitpay wallet (simple process) then you transfer to your bitpay wallet then to the bitpay card then go to the ATM or use the card anywhere Visa is accepted. Yes, you can transfer straight to your bitpay wallet. You can have your book send to that wallet as well.

For us old school idots, can someone explain step by step how to deposit to a book using Bitcoin?

From what I see, you don't need coinbase anymore?

If someone could clarify, I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

Here's what I posted in a different thread. Be careful - don't send from coinbase to a sportsbook account. they will flag it and warn you that it is against their terms and conditions and they will suspend your account if you do it again. I have everything on my Nano S and send to my sportsbook (Nitrogen) from there. Anyway here are the steps:

1) In your sportsbook account, you should have a wallet address specific to your account. It will be a lot of numbers and characters. Copy this (ctrl + c)
2) Wherever you keep your coins, go to the accounts tab, click "send."
3) Where it says recipient, paste the code from your sportsbook account (ctrl + v)
4) enter the amount of BTC you want to send.
5) If you have 2FA enabled, it will ask you to put the code in from your authentication app on your phone. Do that.
6) Hit continue

That's it. It should take no more than a minute for the funds to send. It is likely your sportsbook will wait for a confirmation or 2, so although the funds are shown in your sportsbook account, they likely will not be accessible to bet until they are confirmed.

That's really it. Good luck

Thanks Dawgs I appreciate it.

So if I open a Bitpay wallet, I can just buy Bitcoins from the wallet and send it directly to the book from the wallet?

Thanks again.

In other words, after I have opened the bitpay wallet, how do I get Bitcoin in the wallet to send to the book?

Thanks.

I can't help you there, I've never used bitpay.

If you use coinbase and have an account on an exchange like bittrex or binance, you can send the coins from coinbase to the exchange and then to your sportsbook.

so who do you use for bitcoin deposits/withdraws? and please give us the EXACT directions to open/use the accounts!!! thanks, Elmer:toast:

I haven't had to buy bitcoin for a couple years. All my advertisers pay me with bitcoin.
I use blockchain.com to receive my bitcoin and I use blockchain to send bitcoin to books for playing. To get money out I send to bitpay from blockchain then transfer to my bitpay card then go to ATM and take the cash.

Directions to open the account? Go to blockchain and follow the online registration process. They will show you exactly how to open the account. It's very simple. Same with bitpay.

I have no idea where the best place is to buy bitcoin.

Elmer,

The problem with Blockchain is that you need to have the Bitcoin already. Blockchain won't sell you Bitcoin. I tried.

I just used Coinbase today actually, but now they are telling me that the funds are not available yet. I have no clue when they will available. I have read on the website between 5 and 20 days, so I have no fucking clue at this point. This is very frustrating. Earlier, they told me they would be available today, but apparently that is not for sending money.

To be honest, using offshore books has become a huge pain in the ass. I don't even know how anyone does it anymore.

I am surprised many of them are still in business. This whole Bitcoin thing is just a headache.

As we speak I am still trying to figure out how to send the Book $5k this week, but I don't think it's happening.
