Beware my friends a lot of 6 to 5 payout for having blackjack is spreading like wildfire on The Strip. Just returned from there and its not posted on the table you play on but rather on the post yes the post of the illuminated sign on the side of the table. Play 3-2 payout and never 6-5.

I guess they discovered that they still have enough players that are willing to get ripped off that it's paying off for them. Cut back on comps, charge ridiculous amounts for bottle service in the clubs, charge $40 for a shit buffet, charge more for rooms, charge a resort fee and on and on. Before you know it, they will be taking pushes on 17 and charging for drinks. Watch!

More and more people are taking their business off the strip.

I wonder why CET is going bankrupt?

On the course!
That's what you get when people said, "Who cares", over the 6/5 payout several years ago. Now, casinos say, "Why should we", when it comes to paying 3/2.

There are many casinos "off the strip" that offer fair odds on Blackjack.

The reason casinos on the Strip offer crappy odds on table games is because they can, people sit down and play at the tables, simple as that.

For fucks sake there are shitty parlay odds at lots of Nevada casinos and people still play em, sometimes you can literally walk 10 minutes and get way better parlay odds on exact same bet, but people will play the shitty odds. Same for teasers.

People are dumb.

By the way 90 percent sure Hooters has 3-2 blackjack 24/7 365. Hooters is "on the strip" and one of the few that always has 3-2 blackjack. Of course maybe they have switched to 6/5 now:facepalm:

And let's not even start with the "dealer stands on soft 17 or dealer hits on soft 17" conversation:facepalm:

Yes they have more favorable odds for the low rollers. Drinks are served in a dixie cup. :0003

What about the free bet black jack where u can split or double down for free but the dealer pushes on a 22? thats a losing proposition too.

The video poker can severely fuck u As well. mLots of 6/5 full house/flush payouts out there. Jack and Smurphy taught me about that, and it makes a huge difference.

I remember that day and those hot tattooed girls at the Las Vegas club. :toast:

I saw a semi-cute blondie gal dealing there. She had the naughty librarian glasses on, and those disgusting tats. Then I looked down and saw her bare gut hanging in the chip tray, and I called it a night.........

I sure haven't seen any girls with any sorts of guts the times I have been there?

I forgot to add earlier too; most of the big casinos are spreading 6:5 by the doors. If you ask, they will direct you to the 3:2 tables. The 3:2 tables are usually higher limit as well, so if u want to play $5/10 and get 3:2 u might shit out of luck lots of places.

Back to the video poker too, u can hardly find good close to 100% payout machines anymore. They are out there but tough to find.

I don't play Video Poker, what does 100 percent payout mean?

Someone else can probably explain better than me, but on a Jacks or better machine, you want to see a 9/1 payout for a full house and 6/1 for a flush. A machine like this is a 99.5% payout machine. If it drops to 8/1 and 5/1 which really is about the best u see anymore, that is a 97.8% payout machine I think. Lots of the strip video poker machines are 6/1 and 5/1 which is atrocious and means you can't beat it.

oh ok I see what ya mean you were talking odds, ok got it.

Something like this......

Royal flush 1000-1
Straight Flush 125-1
Four of a Kind 30-1
Full House 9-1
Flush 6-1
Straight 4-1
Three of a Kind 3-1
Two Pair 2-1
Jacks or Better 1-1

Jacks or Better doesn't get any better than 9/6 (although there used to actually be a couple 9/7 ones in Vegas 15 years ago if you looked hard enough). At 9/6 the pay for perfect play is 99.54%. It's a very steady conservative game and it's pretty easy to remember what to hold for optimal play - So there's a very good chance you'll have an opportunity to cash out ahead at some point early in a session. I like this game - usually can drink for free if play pretty slow.

There are some Deuces Wild and Bonus games that reach 100% or higher, but there's a lot more to remember in order to play them perfectly. Also, they are more feast/famine with bigger pays on great hands but not giving anything for smaller hands - so they are less reliable if you wanna kill time and drink for free. Of course the jackpots are more fun with these when you hit em.
