Liked it, does not necessarily match or surpass the original in my estimation, just a good solid continuation.
Only at theaters a few more days. If you saw the original 1982, its a must see.
Thought I had it figured out in the first 45 minutes......WRONG...
Long show, 2 hours 40 minutes....if you need instant super hero gratification, see Thor...this is a long winded tale of discovery...
In 2049, SanDiego is a giant landfill dump.
Vegas is a dusty, radioactive ghost town.
L.A. is still the big murky rainy town of cheap thrills and giant monolithic buildings.
Spoiler alert...read no further, unless.....
Harrison Ford and his replicant girl friend Rachael had a child. Replicants do not breed....big industrialist wants the child for research.
Blade runner replicant Joe, (Gosling) is on the trail to solve the mystery. This era's replicants hunt earlier versions of replicants who were approaching free will and human awareness.
I think the theaters sound system MAKES this flick.
Watching it on a TV, not so much.
