Waring has finishes of 10th and 11th in this event, but they were on the other course - he has yet to play in an event on this course, whereas Dyson has finished 3rd and 12th in the last two Tour events at Gut Larchenhof. In much the better form - Waring has a best finish of 40thin his last seven starts, wheras Dyson has finishes of 5th and 21st in the last month - Dyson deserves to the strong favourite in this matchup.

Wattel has become a very consistent player over the last nine months and looks set to not just secure another cut made, but a high finish as well - he is 10th after rd1. Hansen is one shot ahead of him, but he has been very inconsistent since his return from injury in April so he appears less likely to stay in the top-10. He was in a very similar position last week at Fota Island, but dropped out of the top-10 after rd2 and finished 21st. With the Dane having finished ahead of Wattel just once in their last ten common events, I don't see why he should have been made the favourite in this matchup.
