Could end up being a scrap between McIlroy & Rose at the very top, however for some each way value I'm backing:

Danny Willett 45/1
Richie Ramsay 66/1
Thomas Aiken 70/1
Miguel Angel Jimenez 80/1
Soren Kjeldsen 225/1

Particularly like Kjeldsen as a rank outsider: 9th at the weekend in Spain, 3 top-10s here before the 2010 changes, a great record at the tree-lined Valderrama when it was on the European Tour and lives just around the corner, regularly knocking around the par 3 course at Wentworth with his kids.

Round 1 plays (2pts):

George Coetzee to beat Anirban Lahiri -132 @ Pinnacle
This should be a one-sided matchup. Coetzee's last four strokeplay finishes have been 1st-3rd-3rd-1st and he has finished in the top-30 in each of his three previous visits to Wentworth; Lahiri's last four strokeplay finishes have been mc-49th-44th-mc and he is making his course debut.

Alvaro Quiros to beat Jaco Van Zyl -120 @ 5Dimes
Van Zyl looks to be a player to oppose this week. He was in great form in the first three months of the year, but he has missed his last three cuts with every round over-par and he has never really be competitive on this course, he averages 72.70 on this course, whereas Quiros has three top-20 finishes on this course and he has been particularly good in the earlier rounds (top-15 after rd1 in four of six years).
