I placed a prop bet on the Royal Wedding;

US$ 167.00 Win Single:
CAROLE MIDDLETON (MOTHER) @ 2.50 (Royal Wedding Specials)
Which of these guests will be seen crying during the ceremony
Royal Wedding
Total Stake: US$ 167.00 - #213346546

I wouldn't even think of wasting 6 + hours to watch this crap (I'll wait for the affairs and divorce) but since I am in England anyway, it didn't take too much to find out a result.

A British paper, DailyRecord printed;

http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/s...een-william-and-kate-was-real-86908-23097262/

Amongst the dribble is the excerpt; 'Both Kate's mum Carole and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, did their best not to cry as the service began - and didn't quite succeed.'

Bodog graded it as a loser because they did not see it. My argument was that thousands saw and obviously wrote about it. They counter....'we didn't see it on tv'.

If they had an offer to bet on 'no she will not cry' it would mean they would have to pay one side or the other and I'm sure they would pay the yes and grade the no as a loss. But since its one sided they just keep the lot. The bet itself says 'be seen crying during the ceremony'....not trading manager must see on tv.

Surely Im in the right on this.

Sorry couldn't resist.

Obviously you should get paid "we didn't see it on TV" is just plain funny.

But we are talking about Bodog......I won't even start with all the crap that has happened at that book.

Anyway with all that being said I am sure Jack will help ya out. After all they are a sponsor.

Well no its not looking good....cause they won't pay out! My arguement is that it was 'seen' by thousands there and the journalists covering it. There were probably over 50 tv crews from around the world there.....it was 'seen' on television you can be sure....but apparently not on the coverage their trader watched.

Sounds like a twist of backdoor semantics.

Bodog is pure GARBAGE for a sportsbook.

Sorry Jack but you should be ashamed to have them as a book.

I will not even get started on the payout process.

I will say they did this very same thing to me which led to me pulling my cash out(or at least trying to get cash out of them).

I was on a hot streak and bored as hell during the NBA All Star game and made a in game live wager to start the 4thQ.
My bet was $20 that the first points scored would be a slam dunk at +500. Going against all other type scoring:3 pointer,2 pointer,FT.

The first points scored was a near mid-court alley oop to Paul Pierce who caught and jammed it home and he even swung on the rim.

It was graded a loser.

I called in to tell them there was a mistake in grading and the guy told me the website they used to judge the play called it a layup and they had to go by what the website called it as.

I said my wager was based on what happened and not on how some website would define it and sent them two different links that called it a dunk.

THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY WINNINGS. The guy offered my $20 back is best I got.

I pulled all funds the next day and got them about 4 months later.

BODOG IS SHAMEFUL!
