Sports bettors are getting bombarded with National Football League news now that the lockout is over but don't forget that college football betting is in full swing as well, with BCS futures already available at the Bodog Sportsbook.

That means Oklahoma Sooners fans can head over and admire their school's lofty spot atop the BCS National Championship betting board at 9/2 odds to win the title game in January. The Sooners blasted Connecticut 48-20 in the Fiesta Bowl last season.

Alabama is next at 11/2 odds to win the national championship this season, and they had to settle for a berth in the Capitol One Bowl last year. At least they won that game, though, pounding Michigan State 49-7.

Florida State then sits at 10/1 on the college football odds to win this year's title game, with both LSU and Oregon at 12/1, and Boise State at 14/1.

Florida (16/1), Stanford (16/1), Wisconsin (20/1), Nebraska (25/1), Ohio State (25/1), Texas (25/1), and West Virginia (25/1) round out the top schools on that odds list, with defending-champion Auburn at a longshot 100/1 odds with Cam Newton not around.

Auburn went 14-0 last season, but in what looks like a rebuilding year for the program the OVER/UNDER on their win total on the college football props board at the Bodog Sportsbook has been set at a modest 6.5.

Nebraska, Oklahoma, Alabama, Virginia Tech, Florida State, and Boise State lead the way at 10 wins on the OVER/UNDER on that prop board, with public betting favorite Notre Dame set at 9 wins. The Fighting Irish won just eight games last season.
