i have been out of the country for a while (in costa rica, bodog home actually)
i was able to deposit into my account by giving them an unused check number.
i wanted to know if that was going on in the US or this was just a fluke because i am out of the country or what.
also, will i be able to cash out?

thanks for the help

Good Luck trying to cash out. I just made a withdrawal by Fedex check (since they no longer do Western Union) they told me it will take at least 20 business days. :scared

Had I known they no longer do Western Union withdrawls I would not have deposited with them. Bodog is becoming one of the worst books IMO

i've used their sportsbook and played poker there. if you can wait 3 or 4 weeks to get your money their ok. if you want money fast might want to look elsewhere. i like the 10% bonus you get when you deposit. i've seen this site bashed alot but like i said if you can wait to get your $$$$ they are just fine.

about the bonus at greek. only for losing players. i tried to deposit with them and they told me that they would book my action but there would be no bonuses. they wouldn't even pay for my fed ex bill to send money there. the guy i talked to was very nice but said since i had cashed out for lots more than i deposited. so i could get no reup bonus. they were offering 11% reup bonus at the time.

thanks for considering Bodog.

Of course, you will be able to cash out. Any delay in payouts from Bodog is experience by just about any other online gambling site - but the bottomline is you will be paid.

Bodawg,

I am not trying to put down Bodog, however it seems like they had a responsibility to let their customers know that Western Union was no longer a payout method that was going to be used. They accepted a deposit from me many times but they never let me know that their payout methods had changed.

Regarding the delay in payouts, there are two sites that I am now using (thegreek and 5dimes) and neither takes up to 20 business days for a payout. The greek recently gave me a payout in 1 day. I cant imagine ever playing at bodog again if they are going to take up to 20 business days for a payout. :nono:

Who are those other books that are paying out this slowly?

the 2 sites that i use, which are not sponsors here, have money in my account in 3 business days....so there are definately sites that pay out in a timely manner, BODOG just isn't one of them.

20 days???????????? LOL TRY 20 months

20 days???????????? LOL TRY 20 months

Yes you will get paid, to that i agree. I cashed out
3 months ago and just got my checks in the mail last week. When they first started, they gave a 10% bonus ( they stoped that now ) and was fairly fast on my withdraws. Now, after what happened to me, never again will a penny of my money go into their book. I wanted to bet detroit to win division, they had them @ 2 - 1, S.I.A. HAD THEM @ 1.7 - 1, I really really really wanted to go with bodog since they had better odds, but after getting the shaft, I stuck with my new book. And like I said in another thread, S.I.A took a little bit longer then they normally do, i called and they gave me free cash for the trouble and a guarantee my money would be in checking account next day. I guess i will take good service, 3 day cashouts into my bank in trade of for lower odds anyday. really didnt like my money out of play for three months, sorry bodog you were once good, but you have lost ALL RESPECT OF THE BETTERS ON THIS WEBSITE.:nono:

Great thread guys, thanks for the update. I have used BoDog exclusively for the past 5 years, and never had a problem up until the crackdown back in January. Looks like I'll be handing someone else my money this year .....it appears the Greek is the concensus...

In addition to slow pay, they are always the last to post a line on most of the games.

Especially NCAA football totals where they are afraid to post any total line on some games.

In addition, for the NFL at times it is two hours before gametime and either they haven't posted a line or it is posted with limits.

I talked to them about this last year and their advice was to find another book...so I did.
