If Rami Malek does not get an Oscar Nomination, then he got robbed, he was great in this flick, he nailed it.

I would have given it a much higher rating if the flick was rated "R", meaning they really, and I mean really "PG'd the shit" out of the storey of Freddie's life. Brian May had a lot to do with this, he wanted to "protect Freddie" or some shit. I mean I wasn't expecting to see full on orgies on screen, but holy hell if you are going to make a bio pic about Queen and Freddie Mercury you might want to show what really went on. Hell, there were barely any swear words in this movie. I get that the band wanted to "protect Freddie" (whatever that means) but they went too far, I mean there wasn't even 1 second of nudity in the flick, which is laughable if you think about it.

Besides the obvious sanitation of the movie, there are plenty of bright spots. Rami Malek performance is amazing and the final 20 minutes of the flick are spectacular. Even if you hate the band Queen the final 20 minutes will blow you away. Massive kudos to all that were involved in the production of the "Live Aid" scenes, they absolutely nailed it, incredible:0054

I will see it once I get back from vacation. Queen was my favorite band for quite a stretch and I?ve read a couple books on the band. Hoping it won?t be a let down. Probably would have been better suited for a short series but I will check it out.

Freddie left his estate to Mary, his first love.....

I saw it on election day 3pm with my wife...we had the entire auditorium to ourselves......really eerie feeling.

I finally made time to watch this. I thought it was fantastic. If you are a fan of Queen at all, I think you'll like this one. 8/10 sounds right.
