What kind of odds did you get Woodson??

I'm going to vegas next weekend and was going to put around the same amount on them plus a few others. I think their schedule + preseason ranking really sets up well for them to do it this year...

Not going to happen. Either Va Tech or Oregon State is going to beat them. TCU is going to beat Oregon State so bad that the Beavers vow to not let Boise beat them too and win by two TDs. :)

Boise would have to go undefeated and have only 1 team be perfect or one blemish.
A one loss team goes before them for the simple fact BCS doesn't want outside conference team stealing money.

They need to stop calling this the National Championship Game like they do in basketball.
Everyone has a chance in basketball and that is just not the case in football.

By the way Boise is 12-1
TCU is 15-1
Texas is 15-1 and Nebraska is 10-1 and the Big12 seems softer this year so look for one of those to be unbeaten or 1 loss and Alabama as well.

I do think Boise is as good a play as any, but just saying don't come crying in Dec. when a 1 loss Big12 or Pac10 goes to the title game before undefeated Boise.
I really think this is a toss up year at least to begin with. I am sure it will play out in Oct.

The thing about Boise is going to be week 1. If they win at VT then you can pretty much sit back and watch the season unfold because they will not lose after week 1.

A sidenote is Boise will be on national tx 5 times this season so national exposure will be there.

if boise st wins this game by blow out and vt wins the acc championship game boise has to be in the bcs title game because i dont see anyone running the table in any conference except boise st also their preseason ranking goes a long way to solidifying their chances espesially if they finish in the top 2

all politics aside i think all of america would tune in to watch boise st in the title game which means $$$$ for everyone just my opinion

Like it... Just hope they dont get fucked like UTAH has twice last five years or so, and NOT GET THE DESERVED SHOT.... How many times does Boise/Utah/other "non BCS division schools" get hosed; not for lack of winning/blowouts... Just lack of $$$ from size of school or TV ratings; plus they think NO WAY THEY WANTED TO HAVE UTAH PLAY IN CHAMP GAME CUZ OF THE DISASTER OF A "HEISMAN PLAYER; OR CHAMP TEAM" getting crushed by NON BCS team... That's NOT what the BCS division schools paid for... They paid for a BCS team to win a BCS Championship...

I like ORG and Boise St, and UTAH to get HOSED with a perfect season out of any chance.... (Didnt bet on any futures)... I think you have a good chance and got good odds. Good luck bud. Done venting. Thank you for your time and thread space... :0008 :0008 :0008

This post is from May 23rd 2010. I was impressed with their starting ability, as I stated regarding the National Spotlight. I never stated they'd won the championship today. I even referenced my point.
