i'd rather see boise play a team that could challenge them, like tcu. at least the frogs have beaten boise in the last 2 years. on the other hand, if boise played oregon or auburn, i'd make a ton of money in that game.

All Boise does is go out each and every week and kick ass. They don't, they don't moan. I've never seen a player take a cheap shot. Kellen Moore is un-friggin-believable, and all people do is shit on them.

I agree, give them a shot and then we'll see once and for all. If they get their ass kicked, they go back home with their tails between their legs and the debate is over, but for crying out loud let's give 'em a shot.

I can't remember what show I was listening to yesterday that said that they would put Auburn in the title game even if they lost to Alabama. Really?

GO BRONCO'S!

I am an SEC guy, and I would even say no way to that. I don't know if that will be the issue though. I personally think Bama beats them, even though I hate Bama, and South Carolina lights them up in the SEC Champ. game.

Oregon doesn't exactly have two cakewalks either.

What would suck to me is if TCU gets in and Boise left out. That would be pathetic.

skipper, my good man, while i would hardly call 17-10 a "beatdown", that is neither here nor there. you need to re-read my post. i said "last 2 years". tcu beat boise 2 years ago.

Many on this board said that TCU would blow out Boise last year if I recall correctly.

All Boise does is win.

That Utah win not looking so good for TCU now after ND kicked that ass

Actually I'm not saying that because I lost... Its gambling, you win some you lose some... Just the way it goes.. Boise is a great football team and just because they are in a conference they blows doesn't mean they shouldn't get the votes...

I love Boise and think they are a great team and a class team.

That said....no way they belong playing for the national title. Can they compete? Sure they can...in a 1-game season.

Thing is....teams in the SEC and similar.....they play real teams week in and week out. Pretty sure I could name 10-20 teams that could play Boise's schedule and beat the shit out of bad teams. Would Boise be unbeaten in the SEC? No.

Its a horrible system and there's no fair way to do it under the horrible system. But, if Boise wants to be NATIONAL CHAMPIONS...join a real conference and play decent teams.

I'd rather see a 1-loss SEC team play for the title than Boise, who got a win over Va Tech (at the same time James Madison did) and then played high school teams the rest of the year. Its apples and oranges. You are a GREAT Div 1-aa team....maybe one day you will join the big boys and play real football.

Boise St is a great team. Period.

TCU is the last team to beat them. Boise St has scored one offensive TD against TCU in the last two games they've played. (EDIT: 2 offensive TDs. I forgot they scored one in 2008 also.) They match up well against each other. The first bowl game between TCU and Boise St was in 2003 and Boise St won by 3 pts. All three bowl games have been close games. So, stop with the beatdown comments.

If I recall, Va Tech lost to James Madison after getting beat by Boise St. Has that hurt Boise St at all? Same thing happened with Utah. They were so hyped for that game and let it affect them the next week. Just like Va Tech did.

Now, TCU is in a bad spot because if Utah beats San Diego St tonight, then the close win last week looks even worse for TCU. If San Diego St wins, then ESPN will continue with the "Utah was a fraud" comments. It's a no-win situation for TCU.

I don't know what bank you go to but with thinking like that you wont have any money when you get there... we have to go all the way back to 2009 when utah put the hammer on alabama 31-17... boise wins 4 of 5 -vs- aub, ous, iowa, wi , tcu... for get about the beef .... where the f____ is the (D)... auburn almost took it in the ass on their home field to clemson....thats a tough team... gives geo 31... ark 43... ol miss 43 ?????? the sec is not what some wished it was....boise would win the big 10 this year easy !!! This team can play up front, at the point of attack with anyone in this country, hell : mexico and canada also....
