We finally heard from my best friend Tom, who posts here as Bonovox. I had to promise him that I would sign on and make a new account to tell all his Mad Jack friends that he's ok.
He made it through all the rubble, saw things that may scar him forever, but he's healthy and ok. He lives on the Upper East side, so he was able to finally walk home and get out of danger.
I'm sure his hell was worse, but it was hell waiting to hear if he was even alive. I don't know when he'll be able to post again, but I know he will want to when he can. The only time I heard him laugh was when he said he was going to lament with someone named Hoops over how poorly USC played Saturday.
Knowing Tom, he was probably thinking of defensive schemes Carroll can run against Oregon while he was covered in soot and rubble!!!
