hey guys what would you do if this happened,
I have a good friend of mine who bets with a bookie in town. He's a good better and has won close to a dime. In about early March of this year the bookie stopped taking bets from my friend, and will not return voicemails. For the past two months he has not returned any calls, and basicly is not going to pay out. I want to help my friend out, thinking of going by places they usualy meet and wait for him with a few people. Another idea is getting him to a bet with me for a dime, if I lose I won't pay his ass, and say it's on my friend's tab. If I win I would demand the money. I told my friend to leave him a voice mail every 5 minutes untill he cracks. I hear this guy is about 6'4'' and is possibly armed. Should he just forget about it. It's starting to piss me off, I really want to help my buddy out....any opinions

The only reason I really consider it, is that he's offering me 1/2 of what is recovered. Also, my friend is a little guy trying to get taken advantage of, it just ain't right.

This probably another example why online betting sites are so great, you don't have to deal with these low life crooks!

Just exactly why do you want to get involved, to help a friend or to get half of his winnings?

Forget about it? No way. Go after him. Sounds like the smart thing to do. What can possibly go wrong in a confrontation with 6'4" "bookie" who is armed?

Im trying to not get in to a confrontation. But what would you do if it was your money, let him take it? What I'm looking for is some other way to get the money that is owed, but that probably doesn't exsist.

I REALLY HOPE YOU ARE NOT SERIOUS......IF YOU ARE
(MAYBE YOU MIGHT CONSIDER REPORTING HIM TO THE BETTER BUSSINESS BUREAU? OR TELL HIS MOMMA ON HIM.)

YOU'RE FRIEND HAS JUST BEEN "MULED" (PICK A TERM YOU LIKE .........THIS IS THE ONE THAT IS USED IN MY AREA)

YEA...FORGET ABOUT IT!

WHY?

I would go after the money (somehow)
Do you know some of people who bet with him? I knew a lot of people of my old bookie. If you do you can have the ones that owe him money give it to you and tell him to stick it

I can't imagine it would be worth the trouble and potential risk for that little money. When you bet with a bookie sometimes you get stiffed. It happens. You live with it and move on. Stay out of it.

I would capture him under a net after tranquilizing him with a dart, then I would cut out his kidneys and sell them on the black market! Leave him in a motel somewhere downtown in a tub of ice with a note taped to him that says " Call 911, you have but 12 hours to live! " then offer to sell him his kidneys back to him for the money owed to your friend! It's how I Take care of my bookie!

What type of bookie can't pay out a dime? If your still booking with him you should have your head checked. Good Luck in whatever you decide. I think human life is worth more than a dime.

Alot of great ideas guys,

Here's my finalized plan:

Find the bookie at the local bar, slip him a roofie that will knock him out cold. Help him to his car and bring him home. Repeatedly sodomize him with a plunger utill it breaks. Take the money out of his wallet (a little extra for all the trouble). Steal his dog and leave a randsom for even more money.

Can't wait!
