NFL Betting Online: There are a slew of preseason games to bet on Thursday night and the Cheeseheads at Lambeau Field will be juiced up for this one.

The matchup between the Browns and Packers will go down at 8 p.m. ET so make your wagers before kickoff. The NFL lines for this game were first available at BookMaker sportsbook. Green Bay was pegged as 4.5-point chalk while the total opened at 38.

Cleveland has one of the youngest rosters in the NFL so there is ample competition going on in camp. We said they should be fairly competitive during the preseason because of this, but we didn?t expect them to beat Detroit in their opener.

Brandon Weeden was named the starter by Pat Shurmur last week. He played the entire first quarter in Friday?s 19-17 win. Weeden didn?t look bad but he was far from good, finishing the night 3 of 9 for 62 yards with an interception and a fumble.

Colt McCoy, who wants to be traded, took over in the second quarter and led the Browns to a field goal. Seneca Wallace started the second half and threw a touchdown strike to Brad Smelley. Thaddeus Lewis got the fourth-quarter reps and orchestrated touchdown and field goal drives.

Already without starting defensive tackle Phil Taylor, Cleveland saw reserve tackle Scott Paxson go down with a knee injury in the opener. Defensive back Dimitri Patterson left with an ankle injury. Starting linebacker Chris Gocong ruptured his right Achilles' tendon in practice and is done for the season.

Rookie running back Trent Richardson underwent arthroscopic knee surgery on Wednesday so he may not see any preseason time. Montario Hardesty started and he was backed up by Chris Ogbonnaya, Brandon Jackson and Adonis Thomas.

Mohamed Massaquoi left Friday?s game in the first quarter with a concussion. Massaquoi has a scary history of concussions and we likely won?t see him again until the regular season, if then. That means rookie Josh Gordon will slide into a starting role next to Greg Little.

Bettors flocked to the window to throw down on the over in last Thursday?s Packers-Chargers preseason matchup. The total rose to 37 but the final score did not eclipse that number as San Diego won 21-13.

A total of 18 Green Bay players were scratched from the game because of injury. Offensive starters Greg Jennings, Jermichael Finley and Marshall Newhouse did not play.

The line was also without backup tackle Derek Sherrod and it looked very shaky. Aaron Rodgers had an interception and a fumble in three abbreviated series. He finished the night going 2 of 8 for 16 yards.

Backup quarterback Graham Harrell admitted that the offense went through some rough patches. He played until the two-minute mark in the fourth quarter, connecting on 15 of 27 attempts for 135 yards and a touchdown. Harrell was sacked twice. B.J. Coleman finished out the game.

In accordance with camp reports, James Starks did not look good in his first game as the Packers? feature back. He fumbled on his opening carry and then dropped a first down pass. Starks is now "week to week" with a case of turf toe. Green Bay added veteran Cedric Benson this week as insurance.

Another major injury blow was that of Desmond Bishop. The team?s starting inside linebacker ruptured right hamstring and is done for the season.

The pass-happy Packers have cashed 19 overs in 25 preseason games under McCarthy. McCarthy has a 12-13 preseason record. Bet on this event live at BookMaker.
