Will Brett Favre Find that the Grass really is Greener in the Meadowlands?

BookMaker.com Posts Odds on Brett Favre's performance with the New York Jets

August 13, Costa Rica - Green Bay fans may turn a different shade of green this season - green with envy now that Brett's wearing a new shade of green in New York. With a revamped offensive line that offers better protection than Chad Pennington ever had, it remains to be seen whether Favre will thrive or dive in The City, but chances are good that the future Hall of Fame player will make a positive impact on the Jets' overall performance this season. Save your prayers for Aaron Rodgers's first season performance with the Packers.

Odds makers at BookMaker.com have posted odds on which team will post more regular season wins, which QB will post more passing yards and touchdowns this season, and on Brett Favre's performance with the NY Jets.

"There's no better side show in football that a QB competition - and this season, football fans will have one of the biggest QB competitions in NFL history, and these guys don't even play on the same team," said Esteban Siles, spokesperson for BookMaker.com "Here's to hoping Aaron Rodgers can fill Favre's shoes for Green Bay. But you know, if he chokes this season and Brett puts up numbers like he did last year, CEO Mark Murphy and head coach Mike McCarthy might forever live in Packers infamy."

Ohio but not a Buckeye
I can honestly say that I thought the Jets would win atleast 8 games with Pennington or Clemens. I think the Jets are a solid 10-6 team and maybe 11-5 if they get a lucky game.

They just had a ton of injuries last year and this year they upgrade the line, they have depth at RB, their defensive front is solid, and now they have someone who can throw the deep ball to Cotchery.

With that being said, the Pack attack won 13-3 last year with Favre and ALOT of breaks with a very weak schedule. I honestly think the Bears, Saints, NFC North as well as Vikings are improved. I think if the Packers win 10 games they should consider it a miracle season. Realistic is 8-8 at best. So I'm taking the Jets for sure!!
