Anyone able to name one/some books who also offer the option of picking the winner over 120 mins/golden goal or in the pen shootout.

From what I've glimpsed from a couple of posts elsewhere the odds are pretty heavy, but I'd still like to look at some as a possible option.

Cheers

Cheers Nick

While it's been a majestic struggle to make some cash on this event, as a fan I've been in absolute raptures.

This is as good a World Cup as someone of my tender years :D
can remember and I would not be at all surprised if it goes down in history as the best-ever.

Well, you got your wish Nick. I was glad to see them pull off the upset as well. Just wish the damn games weren't all in the middle of the night here.

What are your thoughts on the USA - Germany game? The US team was outpossessed by about a 2-1 margin against Mexico. That may not mean much considering it looks like the US team's strategy seems to be to bend but not break on D, then come with a counterattack with long balls up the field. That, in my estimation, would naturally lead to a lower possession % for the US side because of the style that they play. But 67%-33% or whatever the exact numbers were is ridiculous. Tough to win many games when the other side has the ball twice as much as you do. I could be way off, I'm not up on my soccer like most of you guys - just my 2 cents.

I've been a soccer basher for as long as I can remember. With that said, this World Cup has been very entertaining. I watched my first full game (all 90 minutes!!!) Usa v. Mexico. I've been getting up a little early before work to catch some of the action. It's been great.

I didn't enjoy the Cup as much when it was in the US. maybe I've just matured.....nah!!!!

Have there been any rules changes that have helped make this Cup more entertaining?
