Lately, my documented PRO plays should come with an advisory label, but looking to change the tide with today's slate that includes the following plays:
4* Jacksonville Jaguars -2
This is just the second away game for the Jaguars and they are installed as the favorites over the disappointing Titans. After starting off with a win against the Eagles, things have gone south on the Titans as they've managed to lose the last 4 games ATS and SU. They get to take on a surging Jags team that at last has the full complement of weapons that they've been lacking for the past few years. Taylor is healthy and is averaging 4.5 ypc and has nearly 400 yards on the year. Titan's MLB Godfrey is questionable, but even if he plays he will be not 100% percent and that doesn't bode well for a unit that is allowing nearly 110 yds on the ground. What also makes this matchup especially appealing is the fact that the Titan's defense has been giving up nearly 30 ppg at home! In the last contest, the defense was lit up by Rookie Ramsey who completed 20-of-34 passes for 268 yds. Brunell will be licking his chops and should pass for over 300 yards in this one. Jimmy Smith should be able to get open and cause some havoc in the Titan's secondary. Reports out of Tennessee say that the Titans have had a spirited week of practice, but you know you're in trouble when your hometown paper, one of the Titan's staunchest supporters, have the Jaguars coming out on top in impressive fashion. Inclined to agree and feel that the Jaguars are the much better team here and should come out winners by a touchdown.
Final Score: Jacksonville Jaguars 27 Tennessee 20
3* Tampa Bay -6.5
Tampa has won its last 4 games ATS & SU and today take on a bruised and battered team in the Browns. The Bucs have a big game next week against the Eagles, but they should be more than focused here. The Bucs defense is playing really well giving up just 10 ppg while the offense has done enough and has been getting more "offensive" the past successive weeks as they are now averaging 25 ppg. Josh Booty is one Simeon Rice hit from playing in this game and if he should play, it'll be lights out for the Brown's offense. Couch has been admirable, but he should get pressured all day again and will likely turn the ball over a couple of times. Cleveland's defense gives up 22 ppg and can totally see the Bucs scoring more than that today. Tampa in a run away!
Final Score: Tampa Bay 28 Cleveland 10
