The Boston Red Sox are now the favorite to win the 2008 World Series at betED.com after their upset win over the Los Angeles Angels in Game 1 of their ALDS.

betED.com MLB World Series Odds have the reigning World Series champions at +375 to win the Fall Classic after they beat the AL West champion Angels 4-1 on Wednesday night.

The Angels and the Chicago Cubs, who also dropped their series opener, aren?t far behind at +400 moneyline odds to win the World Series.

The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the favored Cubs 7-2 in Game 1 of their NLDS as +140 road underdogs.

Boston is now a -190 favorite to win its best-of-five ALDS against the Angels, who are +160. The Dodgers are -120 favorites to beat the Cubs in their best-of-five series, with Chicago at +100.

The Dodgers are +725 to win the World Series at betED.com.

The Philadelphia Phillies are -235 favorites to win their NLDS against the Milwaukee Brewers, who are +185 to upset the Phillies. Philadelphia defeated the Brewers 3-1 in Game 1 of this series.

The Phillies are +500 to win the World Series while Milwaukee is considered the longshot among the eight playoff teams, at +1100 odds.

The AL East champion Tampa Bay Rays are -165 favorites to knock off the Chicago White Sox in their ALDS. The Sox are +155 to win the series.

The Rays are +450 to win the World Series and the White Sox are +950.

On Friday the White Sox and Rays play Game 2 of their ALDS (6:05 pm ET, TBS) and the Red Sox and Angels play the second game of their ALDS (9:35 pm ET, TBS).
