A small sample size so far but there is some interesting data. i will try and update this for tracking purposes as often as possible but again im doing this for myself and for whoever want to take a peak, not trying to be convincing ... Basic wins and losses ATS are marked with a color green for win and red for loss however the games in BOLD are to indicate a HOME game. Here is what we have so far... (NOTE: lines taken from BOOKMAKER)
TOTAL 1st QUARTER WINS AGAINST THE SPREAD = 11
TOTAL 1st QUARTER LOSSES AGAINST THE SPREAD = 8
TOTAL 1st QUARTER RECORD ATS = 11-8 (58%)
TOTAL 1st QUARTER WINS AGAINST THE SPREAD @ HOME = 9
TOTAL 1st QUARTER LOSSES AGAINST THE SPREAD @ HOME = 3
TOTAL 1st QUARTER RECORD ATS @ HOME = 9-3 (75%)
So basically we find a nice trend developing with Boston, when playing at HOME, covering 75% of the time-- in the 1st Quarter. I doubt there will be any adjustments by the books even if this continues because typically the full game line will dictate 1st Half and 1st Quarter lines and even a 1 point or 2 point adjustment in the 1st quarter of an NBA game is significant. Plus i doubt they are even paying attention to this type of shit. Back when I would tail RAS in college totals the full game lines for totals would get destroyed by his steam but the 1st Half lines would typically move much less.. In any case, a wager winning 75% is something to keep an eye on..we shall see what happens going forward.
