YTD 17-14, -17.7 units  , been losing the higher rated plays and hitting the lower ones. Time to start rating them a little more similarly, and I like this weekends card a lot.

1. Arizona +5.5, 5 units and over 53 2 units
Take a look at Arizon getting 5 points from Wisky as well as the over 50. I like it a lot. AZ offense is looking good passing, but not running the ball. Wisconsin only looked very good against WVU.
Wisky is living off TO's but thats not gonna carry them all year. AZ is 9-1 on the road in Sept last three years. Wisky is 2-8 after two SU wins. Wisconsin 7-0 over/under as home fave of 3.5 to 7.5.

Both teams have struggled to run the ball, and neither has lived up to their billing with Farmer and Davis in the backfield. If the run games stall, they're might be a lot of chucking going on.

Also an excellent write up by Nickelback on this one.

2.Air Force + 10 5 units

Inflated line. Cal not a good team as favorites historically, although Tedford seems to be an excellent coach. But Air Force is a good team, with two weeks rest, plenty of time to gameplan. Cal, meanwhile, is off an emotional win over MSU. Three weeks ago this line may have been looked at as a pick em or a field goal.
CAL probably wins, but 10 is too much.

Back in a bit ...

3.Mich St -2 4 units[/b[

I think ND's run stops here. As you all know, MSU owns them, and I'm not about to buck that trend. MSU has looked bad two weeks in a row and they know this game could determine determine which way their season goes. This is a case of a team coming off an emotional win against a team coming off an embarassing home loss.

4. UCONN -3, 4 units
I've been riding this team so far and I'm not gonna stop now. Giving three at home seems more than fair, especially to a weak team like OU with what seems to be poor coaching. UCONN has good coaching, some decent talent, and a lot of excitement building around the program. Freshman RB Terry Caulley is a very good prospect and has shined in the starting lineup. He's very quick and could give the Bobcats' 3-4 defense fits all afternoon. Good value play.

5.Tx A&M +2 4 units

This game has been discussed ad nauseum here so I'm gonna keep it short. VT is not going to run through the Aggies like Marshall. If they are forced to throw they will be in trouble and some turnovers will ensue. Big game, excellent coaches on both sides, looking forward to watching this one.

5. UMD -34 3 units
I must be nuts. But EMU is horrible and big Ralph's offense will pile some points on the board. Beat them 50-3 last year. If they don't turn the ball over and give away points they cover IMO.

now 19-14, -11.4

now 19-14, -11.4

Adding La Tech +15.5, 3 units

Contrarian play. PSU looked great last week. I like the LA Tech offense and I think they try to showcase themselves here.

Like your AZ ML pick and I might go for a piece of that too. Also not liking that UCONN line going up, but I'm gonna stick with them.

Adding FSU -44.5, 2 units

Seminoles have the depth and talent to run this score way up there.
