How good is this team, and what kind of road record do they have under Meyer? I love their offense, but wonder if their defense can stand up to the challenge on the road. Or at least enough to hold Kansas to 20 points.

Well under Urban Meyer ON the road they have beatin the following...
Mizzou
Northwestern
Ohio
Akron
Lost to
Western Michigan
and Marshall
Interesting thing about the Marshall game....they SHOULD HAVE beatin Marshall...they were leading at the end of the game...then Leftwich said "nuff of this shit" and starting bombing that ball left and right and beat BG. 37-31.....
So they arent so bad of a team on the road. Urban Meyer if you dont know...coached ata Notre Dame for a number of years and have really turned that program around and no have made them into contenders for the MAC.
Looking at the Kansas stats for last Saturday...easy to see they run that ball alot. 49 carries for 202 yards and only passed for 112 yards. So obvisouly BG is gonna set that defense up for the run. I dont think Kansas can defend the BG offense - after what I saw last Saturday. SW Mizzou still scored 24 points
I would have to say BG laying 10 points is good value.

Being as Kansas is my alma matter I should be outraged that BG is favored by 10 in Lawrence. However looking at it realistically it probably should be more. KU doesn't have much of a home field edge at all and Bowling Green looked pretty good in whipping Missouri last week. If BG stops the KU run game then my Jayhawks are in big trouble. Believe Kansas got 2 return TD's last week vs. SW Mo. and can't think that will happen again. Will probably lay off this game but after my Jayhawk pride wears off later in the week maybe I will come to my senses and take BG. My early prediction is 34-17 BG win.
