Bowling Green opened up at -6 and now is down to -1.5 at some books. Anyone know why?

Nothing out of line or news worthy on the surface in ref to injuries etc, BG is a little thin at WR but thats about it.

This may be a case of just a team getting a lot of backing because they may deserve it. BG has dropped 4 in a row and Kent Played very well in Waco last week. The Flashes spent a lot of time in the Baylor red zone and could well have won that game without all the penalties and mistakes that they made. I think a cleaner game may have got them a huge upset.

Kent also appears to have found a couple of kids in the backfield and have done a very good job of replacing fallen All MAC RB Jarvis. This is a big answer to the largest problem that Kent had faced.

I thought the opening number was a bit high myself but did not expect Kent to catch this kind of action. The drop has been a slow progressive move, not a quick, huge reaction which leads me to believe that many just think that the opener was simply a bad number that has slowly been corrected to a more reasonable number.

Who knows?

I don't follow the touts and such but does this guy really have a following that can move a number this much? I do know that there had been some steady downward movement on this one right from the start so I can not believe that it's all due to Dr. Bob.

When does this guy release his plays ?

I don't know when he releases his plays and don't think that he caused the line drop from -6 to -4. However, I do think that he has probably caused the most recent drop.

it's been steadily moving in kents way all week

dr bib releases his plays at 4.45 central on thursdays...the lines usually jump 1-2 points on the release but usually come back close to where they were. this movement has squat to do with him

Well, I guess that is it then. Dr. Bob does not move lines. There is overwhelming evidence against it.

"this movement has squat to do with him"

"The Dr. Bob reasoning is foolish."

It's difficult to argue with such reasoning.

I think that at the reduced number there may be some value with BG. They have to play a clean game to get it done but I do think that they are somewhat better than KSU. Kent has found some tallent to replace Jarvis and they are also very good at forcing TO's so this should be a very entertaining game. Though driving into Kent makes me physically ill, we may drive over and take this one in tomorrow.

Also, I agree with Spacks that the tout was probably responsible for the continuing drop. Spackler knows his shit.

Dr Bob definately 100% moves lines. I believe he releases his plays sometime on Thursday however on the 8th it looks like the line was already down to BG-3.

Heres the line movement from Bookmaker!

Don't know if this helps but thought I would chime in....Dr. Bob does have a 4star play on Kent....thats as big as I've ever seen him have...I never seen him have one over 4stars...Hope this is ok to post...If not sorry, you can delete it.

BG I think has played a tougher shed. They have had kents number last couple years. Line should have open around 4 or 3.5.

I don't know where this line movement is coming from, but it's not healthy

Bowling stood toe to toe @ Mizzou,

Boise a different story.

BOWLING GREEN can win this...there will be no middle....

Spang ..Thanks.. great great input.

The line movement looks contrived?
