Here is some of the thinking i go thru and research involved that works for me when making a selection.



Read as much local stuff as possible. Quotes, practice schedueles, injury reports,how long team will be at venue before game,what are they doing with there time before game at venue location.


How senior laden are the teams- players at key positions that get playing time-is there a disparity between teams seniors -


Have these teams been in this bowl recently- are they traveling or is it near home. this can work for or against depends on situation- does school travel well -how many of the alloted tickets are being used by the school. is this a rematch of a earlier game.NEB WASH fOR EXAMPLE


Rushing disparity teams catching points motivated to be in the bowl there in.


How did teams play out of conference.

I dont play alot of the bowl games until the big games in Jan.

One thing I have never been able to grasp in the early games is that there are certain teams that do not play up to expectations.

and its usually very unexpected.

Either they dont care, party too much, it dont count for nothing, thinking about life after college, etc etc. :shrug:

I always seem to stumble unless both teams are committed to play their best and we all know it.

As a rule of thumb, Look to the Dogs in the smaller bowls as some of the participants that are favored, looked to go to BIGGER bowls and aren't into these smaller bowl games. (letdown)
Then look to the Favs for the BIGGER bowl games as the cream rises to the top so to speak.

Happy holidays and good luck to you. I use every item you said. Also look a lot at coaches records in bowls because that shows how they prepare. That is unless they are being named for other teams looking to replace their head coach.

thunder, i usually like to place a few WTF ML dog parlays during bowl season. what dogs, with pts or ML, do you have leans towards this year?

hope you can repeat last year's incredible new years day run

Can't we also take advantage of early lines Thunder? Alot of spreads less than 3 that probable won't end up that way closer to gamedays.

I also look at line movement at sharp books,bookmaker,5dimes,pinny,- when are are they sitting on numbers when other book have moved.


young teams that made mass improvement the last 3-5 games of the season in key stat areas especially defense 3rd down convesions ypp red zone o and and young qbs coming into there own- where we are catching points.


home and away stats some teams stats are so lopsided toward home and there playing a team that plays just as well on the road as home-


how do coaches do with time off 10-14 days what is there record especially as a dog-some coaches are just good bowl coaches or learned under good bowl coaches - paterno obviously- but jimbo fisher learned under bowden and saban 2 great bowl coaches

Every year, suspensions happen to good players as well. They either get in trouble off the field or can't pass an exam..:nono:

I get my azzz wipped every year...

usually i only enter pools that i can do only and enter before game time so i can check MJ's first

I have never had a winning season even though I followed sports very closely working in the field but for the last 2 years have made money tailing you. If I remember you did pretty well with these AA playoff games last year. Good luck once again:toast:
