UConn should win SU, they're the better team and they were embarassed by the Bonnies at Hartford last year 88-70 so I don't see them taking this game lightly.

But I wouldn't bet against the Bonnies to keep it close: their six losses came by an average margin of just six points per game including a 9 poiint loss to #3 Alabama. These losses were all in doubt until the closing minutes with one going into OT and the other decided on last second free throws.

No play on the side.

I'm more interested in the Total.

The Bonnies lead the Atlantic 10 in scoring at 80.6 ppg. They play a pressing D and shoot well. The Bonnies have averaged 85.8 ppg in their L5.

UConn has averaged 96.4 ppg in L5 against weak competition.

Based upon their L5, I look for Vegas to set this Total too high.

T -- I might be wrong, I'd be interested to hear what the other guys have to say.

IMO the Bonnies are smart enough to know they don't have the horses to run with UConn, so they'll play that half court D and try to force the young Huskie team into making TOs. This should slow the game down into a lower-scoring affair more like the UConn 59-48 win vs UMass than the more recent 100+ scoring efforts by the Huskies.

Plus UConn has a much bigger game next Tuesday at #11 Oklahoma; while a few days off must be on their minds.

I'll post my play on the Total later if I go with it.

I think it will be interesting to see how St Bonnie reacts off the 104-101 loss at Ohio on Tuesday. Now another road game on light rest. Teams that rely heavily on the 3 perform their best on fresh legs.
