Intersting read on Daniel Geale:

http://www.boxingscene.com/daniel-geale-inching-towards-big-fights-says-shaw--50296

I think he will do it, his opponet is interestingly priced, but "big money" ahead for Geale and we all know what drives the boxing business... Have to think about how to play this fight or even leave it alone.

:0corn

Btw. Just had a look at the judges those in addition to the location, can make a difference if the fight goes to te cards...

Gaele won by dec, was close and scores propably to high in his favour but was a fair decision to give him the win.

There are 3 reasons, why I like JuanMa
1. JuanMa will probably be in better shape, coming back from a loss he has to be serious and he wont have the say issues outside of the ring.
2. Against Marquez, JuanMa was able to get away with a lot of mistakes (especially concerning his defence), he probably got a little complacent. I expect him to change his strategy for this fight (haven?t found anything in interviews though where he talks about his strategy?)
3. Going into the first fight, you could get the impression, that Salido was at the end of his career, coming off a tough loss against Gamboa, he fought very well though (btw, there seem to be some rumours that he took some performance enhancing substances!?).
Now, however, he is coming off a win against a guy, who is currently ranked 195 by boxrec.
The problem is that he got dropped twice in this fight.
So, now he might indeed be at a turning point in his career!!
Of course, JuanMa can punch, so a ko for him ?even an early one ?isnt out of question!

All that being said, that?s still a fight with a lot of ? for me. So no heavy investmeint!

Plays

Plays

Juan Manuel Lopez -170
I think he can do it, he should win inside maybe even very early.

Ricky Burns inside +180

Burns wants to shine and his opponent is not a bad one, but I have a kina feeling thatthe line is good value.

Stephen Ormond +160
Paul A. is the home fighter, but I think Ormond can step up and beat the "done" Paul.

Some draw bets

Looking fore more.

PS: What do you think about the fights in Argentina tonight? Anyone a strong oppinon?

JML up to -220 now

The big thing that bothers me about him is that since the loss a year ago that he only has 1 tomato can victory

Salido will almost certainly get knocked down at some point but he is a tough SOB who will probably gert up and I am not convinced JML can go 12 rounds

Fully agree this is a fight that could go eigther way and will propably not the distance. I think compared to last time JML is by far better prepared and even more important he want to show his home crowd that he is better the man who beat him some time ago... I know this could get him into danger if there will be heavy exchanges, but I think he will have the edge. Anyway as this can go eigther way no big investment for me, maybe even buy some of it back at current odds of close to +200 on Salido :0corn

I could be wrong but since their last fight I believe Salido took on an easy tune up fight and got knocked down twice. Don't forget, he's been a pro since he was 15. Maybe he's starting to fade. Either way I like Lopez. He didn't have to loss 50 pounds this time and he doesn't have to worry about his divorce.

Hi Gents,

What do you think about Conception vs. Miguel Angel Garcia? You can get him currently between +900-1200 maybe worth a small investment as it looks deep value to me.

Any thoughts?
