I am glad that you liked Hughes over Pickering. I placed small bet on him too on Monday and it seems like I am not alone. It seems like most money action going in Pickering direction though.

I don't know much about Fields, but I think Davis would have a shot. The under seems worth a look as well 8.5 (-165). Davis we know can be hurt and stopped. Who knows how he is going to come back in his 2nd fight from injury. I don't know much about Fields, so maybe his chin gets tested? He also seems like a big puncher, record wise. So figuring in the two styles at hand, I don't see it going to the cards.

Alexander beats the brakes off from Chop-Chop. There is a reason they matched him up with Corely in that fight. For whatever strange reason IF it is close and goes to the cards, who do you think will have the push? The young Alexander, who has years left in him or the some what washed up Corely, who has lost every big fight and hasn't won in two years.

Sanders can def... bother Karass in that fight...

Hi,

off to a conservative start in 2008.

Medium Mollo over Golota.

Smallish Medium Jones vs Trinidad starts round 10

Micro bet on Trindad via Ko2, just in case Trinidad treis to make a point early in the fight.

I think if I hadn#t finished 2007 with 6 straight losses, then I would be putting much more on the Jones/Trinidad over. Seems like a steal to me. But my confidence is down.

I agree, Sanders can outbox the overrated Karass, Rosales was getting the best of him when he ran out of gas, Karass is a little slow and limited imo.

I think Rojas has a decent chance of pulling the upset in his hometown against the mediocre Velasquez, who was losing to BobPac when the headcase got himself dq'ed. Line has already dropped on that one.

I'm not real familiar with Fields or Alexander, but both are relatively untested as a pro, and their opponents have been in with some of the best in the business. If either dog has anything left in the tank, and thats a big if, they could give the younger guys a tough go in the later rounds.

Thanks for the response geto, gl this week

I've seen Alexander three times, twice live, and I think he is the goods. Chop Chop lost his last three in a row, and there seems to be no excuse for him losing the last one. I just can't see King/his managers putting him in a fight that he wouldn't/couldn't win at this point of his career. I actually made a Molitor/Alexander parlay, Mollo, and a few other bets this week.

shouldn`t that mollo/golota under be worth a look?...every indication is that mollo is gonna try and pole-axe the pol-ock and end this thing while golota is still in his early round coma......

it`s around the low -200`s and should at least be worth a look as a parlay partner(i`m turning into an under sucker)....

Had some personal shit going on this week and missed the boat on the bet of the week. The over on Karrass/sanders was -185. I wanted 1850 on it but missed it by 2 mins.

I have wagers on RJ and Mollo tonight... lrge and med.

I watched RJ whoop John Ruiz last night. RJ was an incredible fighter 5 yrs back but I'm convinced he did it w/roids.

I found an odd set of props at 5d, I suspect its a misprint.

Leader after round 3 loses fight or draw +325
Jones Jr leads after 3 rounds +260

These 2 dont match. They expect Jones to be losing after 3 rounds, but also they expect Tito, the leader after 3, to win? That goes against every other line.

Do you think 5d would cancel if it was a misprint?

Good chance if people slam it and they recoginize it- just put a nominal amount on it.

How's this for a personal parlay...

Jacksonville -800
USC -500
Malignaggi Over -475
Spinks -500
Chagaev -985..................+117 odds

gl bl

Chagaev won by 12 round UD

After losing 4 straight dogs it feels good to actually cash something this week. Spinks fight was cancelled which hurt the odds a little but a winner is a winner

Good call, its off the board, but still listed in my pending wagers.

I like this prop:

(Lederman) Fight margin less than 3 pts end rnd 3 -230

Meaning neither guy wins all 3 of the first rounds. I expect Tito will be busier, Jones will land better punches, single only. I don't see Harold giving either guy all 3.

edit - posted a recommended play, changed my mind about it.

is the spinks fight off or just rescheduled? It is taken off the board, yet still listed as a pending wager.
