If I might ask, since Pinny is off limits to US customers, besides 5Dimes, who else is a good out for boxing?

lots of interesting stuff....

i think i`ll play a parlay with the over in the un-colas /bearclaw (the french slappers)/valuev over reluctant warrior schlemiel mcclown in switzerland and dale brown over wide punching ding-a-ling man wilson in canada........

i understand that brown looked horrible in his last fight(possible extenuating circumstances)...and i know he`s 35....still,it`s only been a year and a half since he BEAT o`neill bell....

i guess wilson,who i never liked,has a puncher`s chance... he can punch...but he`s very limited......

i`ll try brown in canada....vs a very poor technician...

lay 1 to win roughly 1.25.....

i see b.l. likes the over...so,if wilson wins a decision,i deserve to lose...

Sorry for the delay in responding

Let me start by saying that offshore gambling in the US is getting more complicated every day. I pulled out 50% of my cash a few months ago when the gambling bill was passed, and I was forced to withdraw another 25% when pinny bailed out.

The rest of my cash is spread out between these books...ranked in preferred order...

1) 5dimes
2) Sportsbook
3) Olympic (thegreek)
4) BetCRIS

I'll spend some time tonight looking for other reputable books that offer decent boxing lines

Fights like this make me wonder why I bet on boxing. Wilson KO's Brown in 2 rounds?!?! The over and my parlay straight to hell with that one. Brown needs to retire and take Bell with him.....

Thanks. By sportsbook, do you mean Sportsbook.com? And yes, it is getting to be a hassle. If you lived here, you would probably quit betting boxing. The casinos really don't feature it that much. Don't get me wrong, the big fights/names bring in all kinds of revenue, if only briefly. But you don't see any where near as many of the lines posted offshore. GL this w/e.

that sucked......brown obviously slipped tremendously in a year`s time....

`cause wilson, who i`ve seen in person,is pretty much a high level journeyman...a wide puncher with little skill....

brown outboxes bell....bell beats mormeck...and ding-a- ling man destroys brown in 2 rounds in canada...where brown had never lost....

ouch....

Hatton ? Urango

Most people see Hatton stopping Urango, I do not agree. Ok, I see Hatton winning the first half of the fight through quickness and higher work rate. Urango is inexperienced and the "quality" fighters he has fought are all movers, so I am not very confident, but in the second half of the fight, I expect Urango to actually take on Hatton a bit. He is a bull, and his short arms could be effective. He has a good right hook from his southpaw position. I can see him causing Hatton problems the longer the fight lingers. Anyway, Hatton will be favoured by the judges and he will probably survive, if necessary, with his ugly way of boxing.
I see good value in Hatton by decision. The odds are like +200 and I will put money on that.

Valuev ? McCline

I see McCline quitting in this fight. But, it?s hard to know what goes throw his mind, maybe he?ll want to make one last statement and chose to survive though this battle, so, I chose not to play Valuev by KO (which was my first intention). Instead, I just played Valuev straight. I emptied my money on Valuev at bet365, 5dimes and half of my money at pinnacle. I have never before gambled on a line as low as -560, but now, when I gamble to actually make money, I find the value here good. I mean, how the hell can McCline win this fight? The only way is if Valuev twists his knee or something. I?m kind of surprised by the amount of money I?ll get back on this fight. In the future, I will put money on safe bets like this whenever it?s possible.

Good luck everybody :mj09:

i agree on your valuev play....,or to be more specific, your play against mccline.....theres something wrong there....a 6`7" guy with "some' skill......but severely lacking confidence....or heart...probably both...

and i agree that,if hatton doesn`t fight very smartly, the latter half of this fight could be intersting...

the over, imo,is a nice value at -120 or -130....i can see the hatton by decision play...

the only worry is hatton`s penchant for cutting(given the lefty/righty issue)....but,then again,i thought that dale brown still had enough left to slip by a one dimensional, high end journeyman....

Fellas, I am not a boxing expert although with an opinion from time to time, but as far as putting more $$ in the offshores at this time, I believe that is a bad idea...I would either wait and see or take out your balances and make sure you get paid before the Superbowl (the sooner the better)...And use Western Union, even if it means you must foot the fees yourself...

Good luck to my online boxing buds.

I agree with the current climate sucking. I pulled everything except a little at sportsbook, and if I build that up I'll pull it also. I have just enough to bet small on my 'locks'. It's kind of a challenge to build it up slowly with what I got right now.

as for valuev, I'd be afraid to lay huge numbers with him, he isn't terrible but I get the sense he'll be the victim of a upset ko, he's a huge f$cker and getting a flash knockdown might do some weird damage to him to make him quit. I'd never unload on any fighter (learned my lesson with roy jones) but good luck to you anyways.

i was very happy with that over...........and i knew urango was slow.....but my god...that`s could be the most passive fighter i`ve seen in ages....

i mean,in a fight that actually meant something....

urango did nothing for much of many rounds......amd when hatton held(which he did almost constantly)at least ricky was punching in the clinch...and as they separated....

urango did nothing....zilch....and punchstat had about a 150 punch difference?.....what`s that, roughly 12 or 13 punches more a round for hatton?........

yeah,right....i`d bet that hatton nearly doubled urango`s output.....

i don`t recall urango`s fight with arnaoutis that well.....but i know he at least fought back in that fight......

and hatton?.....he was obviously hurt to the body in the 7th(the only round i gave urango)....after that,nothing.....he just stopped...

hatton/castillo?....castillo,strangely enough,doesn`t seem to have a second gear.....he seldom changes pace....he either grinds you down,or he doesn`t....

hatton had better not be diving in to clinch from outside vs castillo,though.....like he did tonight...that was an odd, amateurish maneuver that urango never took advantage of.....he was wide open when he pulled that tonight...looked very odd....

if you noticed, castillo was landing a nice, consistent uppercut on ngoudo....who fought about as well as he probably can....

that uppercut will be the death of hatton....along with castillo`s body work in general....if he`s not careful...

it will be hatton`s unorthodox,ruiz-like combos/clinches/ volume punching vs castillo`s grind it out one speed body work....

i`ll be interested to see how castillo reacts to hatton`s rough house/punching in the clinches style.....i doubt he`ll be as passive as urango was....

a physically strong, imposing jr welter like urango.......and he doesn`t know how to fight inside?...i didn`t see urango punch once in the clinch....or coming out of a clinch....

very strange.....
