glad you came to the light BOX

while you were gone I posted a big handout that won easily. Not one attaboy or good job from these clowns in here. I had to pat my own self on the back. How embarressing was that !

I also have no one in here to blame when your gone should need be.

Listen - I took care of that punchmaster clown.

I dont think that will be a problem anymore :142smilie

One of my big bets this weekend is Margarito to Holm LARGE.

Maybe this is just my paranoia, but I'm starting to get a little concerned with my Holly Holm bet !

My first instinct was:

New Mexico home-coming
10 - 2 minute rounds
34 year old French challenger
NO PROBLEM !
easy hit on the over 9.5 and a UD for Holly

but I checked out some video of this Myriam Lamare chick....and she can bang a bit !
and I know she has been preparing in L.A. with Lucia Rijker.

Video here:

yikes. she seems way better than mary jo sanders. So far I'm sticking this out, but I'm a but concerned here.

Any European boxing guys ever seen this French lady?

Hey ghost. I was checking Box's 4 way parlay and my big concern was the Holm pick. Just from Boxrecing she looked to be a tough out. Holm should be the favorite but -500? I took the other 3 in the parlay which pays -200.

THX Box and welcome back

Boxlox I am sure likes Holm because she is a little taller, younger and the fight is in her backyard. Holm has some good advantages. Win or lose his parlay is a very good play. it's not often you get the best of all the numbers in a parlay. usually quite the opposite.

Oh No don't ge it twisted...I like Locks' play
I'm on Holm myself....just trying analyze both sides equally

I think Holm wins a decision, but I give the French guy a better chance than I initially did

let's go Holly !

I wasn't knocking the parlay either. I just don't know much about these chicks. You guys are getting me to consider a play on Holm. Is she really that good? I wish they had a dec prop on this as the lines are quite wide. Good luck for the holm backers

I am on Holm Romi, but only parlayed to Margarito
I don't feel comfortable laying the 6 to get 1 on Holm

Holm is quite a good boxer. She knows when to flurry and when to hit and run. She has zero power, but she gathers up points early and peppers away the rest of the fight. I thought she beat Sanders both fights after viewing them. Again, I repeat, these 2 minute rounds FLY by.

I think the safest play in this fight is the over 9.5. It's about the same price as Holm, and Holly should win a decision. The French guy could be dangerous early though !

I am pretty sure this thing goes the distance.

Here is an interview with Holm recorded this week:
