Was undecided about this one; probably not wanting to lay the lumber on Dawson, but sometimes you gots to lay it down to pick it up. After consulting with various sources, I am on Dawson-250. Now I may also bet him by decision.

you may want to take out some insurance on Dawson's chin. He's talented and physically gifted but Tarver's been doing this a while and he probably knows his chance to win is his Roy Jones II punch. Dawson's a very likeable cat, a world of talent but I'm leary of laying chalk on an average at best set of whiskers. If Dawson is so good at this point where he doesn't give Tarver a chance to chin check, all power to him. In your favor is that when he was dropped against Adamek and hurt a bit, he dug in and fired back, hitting Adamek hard so he was leary of coming in and closing the show. Also recovered from his wobblines during the excellent Glen Johnson fight.

Battle of the wives is no contest. Tarver has a trophy wife. She's fine!

we knew there would be a speed differential.....what surprised me was the power difference....

looked like dawson had no qualms about standing in and firing off 5 punch combos because tarver was throwing pitty pat punches...he threw nothing to keep dawson honest...

i didn`t see any power until the last round....

they say you never lose your power....i`m not so sure anymore...

Dawson made sure for once to keep his hands up; good strategy, Tarver never got buzzed and always looked for the big moneymaker.
