I realize Marquez is an aging champ, but he is tough as nails and has vast experience. I think he may still have enough left in the tank to defeat a limited Mijares. I see this as a decent sized step up Mijares, and so Marquez is a value play. Likely goes to the cards also. Marquez+140.

Apologies

Apologies

I apologize for stinking up the joint with my 2 good for nothing plays. Worse part is Marquez got KTFO. He says he had stomach issues! WTF! He must be eating the freaking tacos down in TJ.

Speaking of the older bro. So what I'm getting is that both him and Pac say a KO is imperative. Also Marquez is ALREADY talking about being robbed, and the scribes are saying Manny must get the KO to insure the Floyd fight. Also Marquez is assured of a big fight versus Rios or someone else EVEN if he loses. So the stage is set. Manny KO's Marquez, get 20 trillion dollars to fight Mayweather. Marquez doesn't give a rats rear end as he too gets another title shot and millions. Lord have mercy.

I got Pac at -200 in Sept. I hedged with Marquez +325. Yea, its a scalp option, but I think Marquez CAN win, but he may not be allowed to. Its been said, sometimes a guys wins rounds on name recognition alone. A close round that could have gone to the less famous guy goes to the marquee fighter. Such is human nature. Lets face it, the powers that be are drooling over a May-Pac showdown. Millions upon millions to be made. Personally, I think it could be a stinker. Neither guy wanting to risk jack and get injured. The money is theirs, win-lose-draw. A lot of propaganda. As a song from back in the day says, "don't believe the hype".
